There are two matches in the Premier League on Sunday on an afternoon of football which is likely to live up to the ‘Super Sunday’ billing it receives. We have an interesting starter and one of the matches of the season so we should be in for a top afternoon of action.

Bournemouth vs Arsenal
The opening match of the afternoon comes from the Vitality Stadium as Bournemouth host Arsenal in what is a match both sides will be looking to win for different reasons. Arsenal have seen their rivals Tottenham pull away from them and are already five points off fourth while Bournemouth are teetering on the edge of the drop zone.
This fixture last season was an amazing game as Bournemouth rolled into a 3-0 lead before Arsenal pulled it back late on to draw 3-3 and I’m expecting something equally as entertaining here too. Although they made a number of changes last week we saw how naïve Arsenal remain defensively and we’ve seen deficiencies in Bournemouth at the back all season.
Both sides really could do with a win here so I’m expecting them both to have a bit of a go here and with that in mind it is over 3 goals which appeals in this one.
Liverpool vs Man City
One of the better looking matches of the season takes place in the second game of the afternoon as Liverpool host Manchester City in a match which you would think has goals written all over it.
The match is probably bigger for Liverpool than it is for Man City as they are at home and are in the mix of those sides chasing for the top four but City are in the middle of an incredible season and they have a chance to pick up even more plaudits if they can dominate this game.
This is another match in which I expect to see goals in. Liverpool will look to get on the front foot while City will be happy to counter attack so both will get to play in the style they appreciate. Over three goals appeals here too.
