The Premier League weekend continues with two more matches on Sunday including a real showdown between the champions in waiting and the current holders of the title which should be a great match.
That is the second match of two with the other game giving Arsenal a chance to put a tough week behind them when they head to Brighton in what could be a tricky test in the game to get the action underway.
Brighton vs Arsenal
Arsenal will look to put back-to-back defeats to Man City behind them when they make the journey to Brighton on Sunday. We shouldn’t necessarily compare this match to taking on Man City but in the last week Arsenal will have covered a lot of ground chasing the leaders and the second of those matches was only just over 60hrs before this one.
Brighton will certainly have to get over a mental hurdle of struggling against the big sides but they arrive into this match in good form and certainly the fresher of the two sides. Arsenal’s away form has been terrible for a while now which leads me to think Brighton can get a result of some kind in this one.
Man City vs Chelsea
The big match of the weekend is the second one to be played out on Sunday when Man City host Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium. It remains to be seen what state Man City are in physically although they didn’t exude too much energy in the second half on Thursday night which should help them.
Chelsea will have a good go here because they need the points to keep up in the race for the top four so we should be in for a decent contest here, similar to the one we got with Chelsea in Manchester at Old Trafford last week.
The attacking talent on show in this match is huge and that makes me think goals will be on the menu. We can get a decent enough price on over 2.5 goals and that seems like the right way to approach this match to me.
