There are seven matches on Sunday as the NatWest T20 Blast continues and we see some of the sides in action hitting the halfway mark for their group campaign which means that every match matters from here on in.
The Women’s World Cup final takes centre stage as far as the TV coverage is concerned on Sunday so we are reduced to the county sites and media streams to keep up to date on everything.
North Group
With the top two in this group having the day off there is a chance for the pack to steal a march and close in on them and in some cases overtake them. Yorkshire are in the best position to do that and they host Worcestershire at Headingley. Lancashire will also look to enhance their position when they host Durham while Derbyshire head to Edgbaston to take on the Birmingham Bears.
South Group
We have a full round of matches in the South Group with the leaders Surrey heading to the Ageas Bowl to take on a Hampshire side in need of a win after back-to-back defeats. Glamorgan play host to Essex while Sussex take on Kent at Hove and Middlesex travel to Taunton to take on Somerset.

Betting
I’m loading up on the bets on Sunday afternoon. We need to avoid a few showers going up and down the country but hopefully we will do that.
Down at Cardiff I can’t be having Glamorgan at odds against to beat Essex. I have them favourites for the match. Glamorgan chased down over 200 at Chelmsford last week and since then have added David Miller to their ranks. Essex are a Jekyll and Hyde side in this format of the game so I’m happy to go with the consistent Glamorgan especially in their home conditions.
All eyes might be on David Miller in Wales for the next few weeks but he will have to go some to better the form of Colin Ingram and I genuinely have no idea how he only has a performance line of 31.5pts. Ingram blasted a ton against Essex just seven days ago and his form has been amazing against the white ball all season. He rarely fails with the bat but even if he does he is likely to bowl overs and field around the bat. This line is mentally low. I’m on the overs.
Derbyshire are another side who look overpriced to me. I’m guessing they are the price they are because of their lowly reputation but they have been playing some excellent cricket in this competition this season and there is no reason that can’t continue when they face the Birmingham Bears. I still maintain Birmingham are a form batsman light and while their attack is good it will need to be to contain this Derbyshire batting line up. Derbyshire are going great guns right now and at odds against I’ll take them.
Sussex took a while to get up and running but they picked up a good win at Hampshire in their last completed match and I fancy them to build on that when they host Kent on Sunday. Kent’s bowling has been carted in this competition and apart from their top two their batting has been found wanting partly due to a lack of time at the crease. There are no such issues with Sussex and they can win this if they bat sensibly.
