2017 World Open Snooker Qualifying – Day 2 Betting Preview

The second day of action at the World Open qualifiers takes place on Monday when three more sessions of snooker is completed inside the Guild Hall in Preston. After a winning pick on Sunday we will hope to deliver more profit.

Among the big names on show on Monday are Joe Perry, Luca Brecel, Judd Trump and Ricky Walden on what should be another decent day on the green baize.

Morning Session

Luca Brecel is one of the players on the streamed tables on Monday morning when he takes on Ross Muir while Peter Ebdon is on the other. He meets Niu Zhuang. Elsewhere there are two matches which sees Mike Dunn playing Soheil Vahedi and Daniel Wells facing Gerard Greene.

Afternoon Session

Joe Perry is one of the main men on the streamed tables in this session. He takes the Welsh player Ian Preece while Ryan Day takes on Rod Lawler on the other table featured in front of the cameras. The other matches in the session sees Scott Donaldson meeting Ian Burns, Li Hang facing Robin Hull and Noppon Saengkham playing Adam Duffy.

Evening Session

All eyes will be on Judd Trump in this session and as you would expect he is a feature on the streamed tables. He faces the capable Sam Craigie with Ricky Walden playing Jamie Barrett on the other. Xiao Guodong meets Lukas Kleckers away from the spotlight while Andrew Higginson and Martin O’Donnell also do battle.

Betting

I like two bets on Monday. I took Soheil Vahedi to beat Mike Dunn last week and he beat him 4-0 so I have no idea how we are still getting odds against on the Iranian. We are though and I am happy to take it much for the same reasons and I explained on Friday.

The other bet I like is for Li Hang to beat Robin Hull. Hull has done little of note since he won the Shootout last year and while Li Hang is not one of the best players in the game he can deliver the goods when he is expected to and that might be all he needs to do here. I always think the Chinese players are extra motivated to make it to their home events and Hang can do just that here.

Tips

Back S.Vahedi to beat M.Dunn for a 4/10 stake at 2.10 with BetVictor
