2018-19 Premier League – Saturday 27th October Matches Betting Preview

We have a truncated Saturday to get the latest round of Premier League matches underway. With many sides having had European commitments this week there are just six fixtures on Saturday where many of the leading protagonists are left for later in the weekend.

Liverpool are the only side from the top six last season to be in action on Saturday. Unlike most weekends there are only two kick off times on Saturday so we have to wait until the traditional slot to get stuck into the action.

New Customers can get Liverpool at an enhanced 25/1 the beat Cardiff. Max Stake £1. Winnings paid in free bets. Full T&Cs Apply. 18+|Gamble Aware.

3pm Matches

There are five matches in the normal slot with the match at Anfield between Liverpool and Cardiff City potentially the pick of them. Bournemouth make a trip to the capital to take on a Fulham side who are in desperate need of a win in one of the other matches. Speaking of sides who need to win that is definitely the case for Southampton and Newcastle United and they meet at St Mary’s Stadium while Wolves head south to face Brighton and Hove Albion. The other match sees Watford hosting Huddersfield Town at Vicarage Road.

Late Game

The action concludes at the King Power Stadium where Leicester City will look to recover from their defeat on the Monday Night Football when they play host to a West Ham United side who also lost last time out. Both teams would appreciate a win not just for their own confidence but just to make sure there is no chance of any pressure making an appearance on their shoulders.

Betting

I’m going with just the one bet on Saturday afternoon which predictably comes from Craven Cottage where I am expecting the back of the net to be hit a few times in a clash between two of the more attack minded sides in the Premier League, both of whom have defensive deficiencies that are there to be exploited.

Fulham meet Bournemouth in the aforementioned match with Fulham having comfortably the worst defensive record in the division and leaking four times at Cardiff last week just not serve their defence in a good light. Only the powerhouses of Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal have scored more Premier League goals than Bournemouth this season but they’ve conceded a dozen in just nine games themselves. Those statistics are no surprise though. It is the way both sides play and as such I expect over 3 to land here.
