The latest weekend of Premier League action begins with another of those busy Saturdays with four kick off times and eight matches over the course of what looks like one of the tastiest days of the campaign thus far.
All of the title protagonists and leading sides in the division will do battle on Saturday with two of them facing each other in the latest huge clash of the season. Events at the bottom will develop as well so we are set for a busy day.
Early Kick Off
The action gets underway at the Vitality Stadium where Bournemouth take on title chasing Liverpool who will be looking to go to the top of the table for a few hour at the very least. Bournemouth ended a slump in midweek and look primed to take the match to their visitors so this should be quite an entertaining way of starting the day.
3pm Matches
Arsenal will look to maintain their unbeaten run when they play host to Huddersfield Town in one of five matches in the traditional 3pm slot. Burnley go in search of a much needed victory when they take on Brighton at Turf Moor. Southampton begin life under a new manager with something of a six pointer when they make the trip over the Severn Bridge to take on Cardiff City.
There is a London derby at the London Stadium where West Ham United will be looking for a third successive win when they take on Crystal Palace who really need to bounce back from their defeat at Brighton in midweek. The other match sees Claudio Ranieri taking his Fulham side to Old Trafford to battle it out with Manchester United.
Late Games
The first of the two late matches on Saturday comes from Stamford Bridge where the pick of the fixtures takes place. Chelsea in fourth play host to the champions Manchester City in what could be the final chance for Pep Guardiola’s men to realistically lose a match. One they are done the action switches to the King Power Stadium where former Premier League winners Leicester City take on the side they beat to the title in Tottenham Hotspur.

Betting
I’ll go with three bets with the first one coming in theopening match of the day when an attacking Bournemouth side will take it to Liverpoolwho can be devastating on the counter attack. I would imagine Liverpool willrest some players ahead of their big match in midweek which will giveBournemouth a leg up but as we saw in midweek at Turf Moor the second stringcan still create things for the Reds. I like the idea of there being more than2.75 goals here.
I think there will be goals at Old Trafford too whereManchester United have regularly shown that they can’t defend this season.Fulham should launch a number of counter attacks through their attackingplayers but the Cottagers haven’t exactly impressed at the back either. United’slast two matches have ended 2-2 and I wouldn’t be surprised if Fulham find theback of the net a couple of times here. If they do we should see over 3 goalsland but even if they don’t United should get back to comfortable winning wayshere and could cover the total on their own.
The last bet comes in the evening where I’ll take advantageof the even money on Manchester City to beat Chelsea. I don’t like the noisescoming from Maurizio Sarri in the lead up to this one. It is almost like he isbeaten before he begins. Ultimately I do think he will be beaten and so I’mhappy to take City in this one. To be fair this City side are that good thatyou can pretty much back them blind when you see even money slated next totheir name. Christmas isn’t for another two weeks but it may well come earlyfor those of us getting involved here.
