2019-20 Premier League – Saturday 9th November Matches Tips and Betting Preview

The Premier League weekend continues on Saturday with six more matches in the final set of fixtures before the latest international break, a day in which a number of high profile sides are in action.

We have to wait until Sunday for the top two to battle it out but the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham, Leicester and Arsenal bring a decent enough quality to the Saturday card, one which features three kick off matches as always.

Early Kick Off

Things begin at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon where Frank Lampard will go up against his former England manager Roy Hodgson and his Crystal Palace outfit. Chelsea are in excellent form at the minute and will be heavily expected to win this game. Palace lost to Leicester last week and will be looking to get back to winning ways here. This is a London derby so we should get off to a competitive start.

3pm Matches

Four games make up the traditional slot on Saturday afternoon with a competitive and potentially fiery affair at Turf Moor among them as Burnley take on West Ham in a match where both will be looking to bounce back from disappointing defeats last week while Newcastle and Bournemouth will be looking for successive victories when they take on each other at St James’ Park.

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to build on their fine win in Europe in midweek when they take on one of the surprise packages of the campaign in Sheffield United with the other match in this kick off slot seeing Everton begin life without Andre Gomes when they take on a Southampton side who must be wondering what the word confidence means at this stage.

Late Game

We save the best for last on Saturday when the final match of the day comes from the King Power Stadium as two members of the top five in the table meet when Leicester City host Arsenal. Arsenal are lacking an identity at the minute and have as many issues off the pitch as they do on it. There are no such issues for Leicester. They are looking stronger by the game and have the chance to showcase their credentials against a big side in front of their own fans.

Betting

It is Leicester City that I like in terms of a betting point of view on what is a tricky Saturday card. I’ve been keen on the Foxes all season and nothing has happened since then that puts me off. If anything they are actually even better than I thought they were which is quite something and I expect the Foxes attacking core to enjoy themselves against this Arsenal defence.

Arsenal haven’t really inspired me on the road this season. They were useless at Sheffield United recently and the only clean sheet they have kept on their travels came at Newcastle where they took advantage of a lot of negativity around the home side in that match. They are often exposed tactically away from home and if they get it wrong in that domain here they could be found wanting in a big way. It is Leicester for me.
