2019-20 Premier League – Sunday 15th September Matches Tips and Betting Preview

There are two more Premier League matches on Sunday afternoon with both of them hopefully following the high scoring trend of the games which took place on a dramatic Saturday which kicked the latest round of fixtures off.

The majority of the big clubs were in action on Saturday but we still have one of the big four contenders on show on Sunday as well as a couple of sides who will be looking for three valuable points along the way.

Bournemouth vs Everton (14.00)

The first match of the double header sees Everton in action in this slot for a second match day in succession. Having beat Wolves a couple of weeks ago they head to the Vitality Stadium to take on a Bournemouth side who often run well on their own patch.

I’m expecting a decent game here. Bournemouth like to take the game to their opposition on their own patch while Everton probably need to be winning these games if they are going to achieve their aims of troubling the top six, which given the cash they have spent should really be a minimum requirement for them.

Bournemouth have goals in them but they can leak them too and I think actually we can say the same for Everton whose defensive strength at the start of the season might just have been a result of who they played rather than what they offered. I’ll take over 2.5 goals here.

Watford vs Arsenal (16.30)

The second match of the afternoon is another London derby where Watford will go in search of a first win of the campaign after making the switch in managers while Arsenal will be hoping to move up to third in the table with a win of their own.

Arsenal won this match last season in what was one of their rare away wins last term but Troy Deeney was sent off early on which helped. I’d like to think Arsenal are going to be more reliable on their travels this term but they didn’t inspire me at Newcastle on the opening week of the season and played right into Liverpool’s hands in their other away game. I’m not sure what Watford will offer under Flores. They say never go back so that was a weird move all round really. I’ll sit this one out.
