2019-20 Premier League – Sunday 3rd November Matches Tips and Betting Preview

The Premier League weekend finishes with a couple of matches in the top flight on Sunday afternoon, a day where four sides who are all good to watch on their day compete for three points which will be valuable to all of them.

We’ve already seen the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City this weekend and on Sunday it will be the turn of the side who were third heading into the fixture list who will be the centre of attention in Leicester City.

Crystal Palace vs Leicester City (14.00)

The first match of the afternoon is an interesting clash in styles as Crystal Palace and their counter attacking philosophy take on the possession based style of Leicester City in a match the Foxes will be eager to win to keep their place in the top three.

Palace generally relish the chance of going up against the bigger sides, especially on their own patch, so this is very much a banana skin for the Foxes and one which it will be interesting to see if they can overcome. If they can then they are legitimate top four contenders this season. I’ve a feeling they might cancel each other out though so this isn’t one for me betting wise.

Everton vs Tottenham Hotspur (16.30)

Two teams who a fair amount was expected of heading into the season but who have spectacularly failed to live up to those expectations meet in the second of the two matches on Sunday afternoon when Everton play host to Tottenham Hotspur.

These two haven’t even been inconsistent this term, for the majority of it they have been plain awful and you would be a brave man were you to trust either of them. Spurs’ away record has been terrible for too long and Everton have flattered to deceive for the same period of time as well so I can’t really call the result.

The bet I like here is for over 2.5 goals. One of the reasons why these two have struggled so much is their defensive deficiencies this season and both have the offensive players to capitalise on that weakness here. Matches between these two are generally high scoring matches and I don’t really see on what evidence that is going to change here. I’ll back the over.
