We have a four match card in the Royal London One Day Cup on Tuesday and with the weather remaining good for the day we should get even more great action to go with the excellent cricket we have seen so far in the competition.
Annoyingly none of the four matches has any TV coverage about it but the majority of them have counties who offer a live stream at home so there is a way to watch the bulk of the play, which is some solace.

North Group
There is only the one match in the North Group on a quiet day in the section but it is a good one with two former winners in action when Warwickshire face Nottinghamshire at Edgbaston. Nottinghamshire will be looking to maintain their perfect record in the competition while Warwickshire have the chance to move up to fourth if they can find their first win of the season.
South Group
Three matches take place in the South Group where the defending champions Hampshire will look to continue their 100% record in the tournament when they host another team who are two from two in terms of wins in the shape of Middlesex. Whoever wins that match will go top of the table. Gloucestershire will go in search of a second win when they host Kent at Bristol while Surrey need to get up and running when they welcome Essex to the Kia Oval.

Betting
I’ll go with just the one bet here. I was tempted by Gloucestershire but Joe Denly is back for Kent so I’ll give that a miss and concentrate my efforts on events at the Kia Oval where winless Surrey take on Essex in what should be a decent contest given the number of internationals that are on show across either side.
Essex have a win and a loss on their radar but importantly here they have gone well with the bat on both occasions. They came unstuck last time out against a crack hot Middlesex batting line up on a flat Chelmsford deck but there is no shame in that. I fancy they are overpriced here though. Surrey have not gone well in this competition at all. They have put up two horrible showings with the bat and while they have been better with the ball, they haven’t bowled at the likes of Alastair Cook, Tom Westley and Ravi Bopara so far. I get why Surrey are favourites but until they deliver the goods with the bat I can’t be with them. I’ll take Essex here.
