2020-21 Premier League – Saturday 21st November Matches Tips, TV and Betting Preview

The Premier League is back from the international break on Saturday and it returns with four matches on another lengthy day of action which sees four of the ‘big six’ on show on what has the makings of being a decent day of football.

The Premier League has dumped the ridiculous pay per view nonsense that they went with before the international break so all four matches are live on TV for us in the UK to enjoy on a day to put the feet up on the couch and take in wall to wall football.

Saturday’s fixtures are as follows: (UK kick off and TV in brackets)

Newcastle United vs Chelsea (12.30 – BT Sport 1)

Aston Villa vs Brighton and Hove Albion (15.00 – BT Sport 1)

Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City (17.30 – Sky Main Event & Sky Premier League)

Manchester United vs West Bromwich Albion (20.00 – BT Sport 1)

Preview

The action gets underway at St James’ Park where a Newcastle United side who have started the season better than many would have expected host a Chelsea outfit who are beginning to find a little consistency and will be looking to push on after a solid enough start to the season. Early pacesetters Aston Villa are then on show when they go up against a Brighton and Hove Albion side who have played some pretty football this season but only have one league win to their name.

Once again the pick of the matches is the third one on show as Jose Mourinho meets Pep Guardiola yet again when second placed Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to go up of the Premier League for a day at least when they host a Manchester City side who are languishing down in tenth spot in the table although they will move to within two points of their opponents here and have a game in hand should they win. The action concludes at Old Trafford where Manchester United welcome West Bromwich Albion in a clash home boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer surely can’t afford to lose.

Betting

Brighton and Hove Albion play some nice football and are good to watch but they don’t win many matches from it and I’m not convinced they will get anything out of their trip to Villa Park where they take on an Aston Villa side who are much improved on last season and who probably have more to come from them as well when they get everyone fit. Jack Grealish is playing some amazing football at the minute and with the likes of Ollie Watkins and Ross Barkley giving them an even greater attacking potency and Emi Martinez helping them out defensively there is a lot to like about Villa here. You would think Dean Smith will know all about the main Brighton goal threat in Neal Maupay having had him at Brentford and as long as the Villans stay strong defending set pieces I would expect them to go on and win this one.

Nobody fears this Manchester United defence anymore so I’m expecting to see some goals when Manchester United host West Bromwich Albion. I don’t think anyone needs to be too surprised with how the flow of this one will go. West Brom will set up to hit United on the counter through Grady Diangana and Matheus Pereira so United will have all the ball and will have to take the game to their opponents. United have been written off in recent times and understandably so because they are convincing nobody at the minute but they still have the class to put a team like West Brom to the sword. The goal line here is 2.75 which if they are on a going day United can cover on their own but even though WBA have gone a bit goal shy in recent times there is no reason why they can’t threaten the de Gea goal here. I like the over in this one.
