The Championship weekend concludes on Sunday afternoon when the three matches yet to be played take place across the country, and for a number of the six sides involved it could be a crucial day of action.
Although three matches take place, two of them were moved late due to the Hull vs Middlesbrough game on Thursday evening so only one of them is live on TV for us to enjoy in the UK, but there are enough ways to keep up with the other two games.
Swansea City vs Sheffield Wednesday (12.00 Sky Sports Football)
The opening match of the day is where the televised action comes from as Swansea City look to move within four points of rivals Cardiff City in the race for the final play-off spot when they host a Sheffield Wednesday side who technically have little to play for but still have a potentially devastating points deduction hanging over them.
Both these sides have offered up one of each result since the restart with a win, a draw and a defeat to their name. Swansea saw their loss come at home to Luton Town last weekend but they bounced back with a solid if unspectacular draw at Millwall in midweek. Sheffield Wednesday also lost at home, their defeat coming to West Bromwich Albion, so they might be pleased to be on the road again. Nothing really stands out to me here from a betting point of view so I’m happy to leave the game alone.

Middlesbrough vs QPR (14.00)
The second match to kick off in the Championship on Sunday comes from the Riverside Stadium as the quest to keep Middlesbrough in the second tier continues when Neil Warnock’s men host QPR in a match you feel they need to win given the results on Saturday.
QPR look like they are safe on 50 points but defeat here will see them just five points above the drop zone and looking dangerously over their shoulder. They have not really come out of lockdown yet which is a concern. They have lost their three matches to date, two of whom were to sides in and around the relegation zone so they shouldn’t be taking a result here for granted. Based on the form of QPR, you would think Boro will fancy their chances here but their defeat at Hull on Thursday night showed that they have issues. This is a game the home side can and maybe should win but I’m in no rush to back them again.
West Bromwich Albion vs Hull City (15.00)
The last of the three matches comes from The Hawthorns where West Bromwich Albion will look to solidify their automatic promotion claims when they host a Hull City side who are still deep in relegation trouble even after their late win against Middlesbrough in midweek.
West Brom took a little time to get going on the restart but they came alive on Wednesday night when they went to Sheffield Wednesday and put in a very commanding performance and they will be looking for the same again here. Hull City gave their survival hopes a good boost with a dramatic win over Middlesbrough on Thursday night but you get the feeling they didn’t beat a lot in that match and could revert to type being up against it here.
There are a lot of things in favour of West Brom here, not least that they are comfortably the better side of the two. They played their last match on Wednesday evening whereas Hull were in action almost 24hrs later and we’ve seen already this weekend that we are entering the red zone for energy levels now. With that in mind, the depth and quality of the Baggies squad is another positive for them and even if Bilic utilises it here they should still run out pretty convincing winners.
