ATP Indian Wells 2025: BNP Paribas Open – Day 6 Tips and Betting Preview

The third round of the BNP Paribas Open concludes on Monday when the ATP Indian Wells competition continues with another eight matches take place in the opening Masters 1000 tournament of the year.

We are seeing the shocks continue in this competition and the big names who remain and are on show on Monday will be even more on their toes to ensure that they don’t come up short and become the latest victim of an upset.

Stadium 1

Monday is a day where we have just the two matches on the main stadium and they open both of the sessions. The one remaining British man left in the competition starts off the day session when Jack Draper looks to reach the last 16 of a tournament in America once again when he faces the home player Jenson Brooksby who will be looking for another win to help with his protected ranking. We then have to wait until the starter of the night session for the other match to come along when the standout clash of the day takes place as Denis Shapovalov goes up against the defending champion Carlos Alcaraz.

Stadium 2

That gives us three matches over on Stadium 2 on Monday but not before a women’s match takes place. When that is done the former champion Taylor Fritz will look to make it into the last 16 again when he takes on the Chilean player Alejandro Tabilo before another American takes to the stage as Ben Shelton rounds off the day session against Karen Khachanov. The third match on this court concludes the night session where we have a very entertaining looking contest between Grigor Dimitrov and the man who won in Auckland at the beginning of the season in the enigmatic Gael Monfils.

Stadium 3

There are three matches left on Monday and they all come along over on Stadium 3 and they are the opening games on the court. The man who beat Novak Djokovic is back on court in the opening match when Botic van de Zandschulp faces Francisco Cerundolo before two men who will be eyeing up a really deep run now that Djokovic is out of the way meet when Hubert Hurkacz takes on Alex de Minaur before the final match on this court sees the home player Brandon Nakashima looking to make further progress when he takes on the Italian player Matteo Arnaldi.

Betting

There isn’t a huge amount that I like on Monday but I will take on one bet which comes in that last game over on Stadium 3 where I think Matteo Arnaldi probably should be a bit more of a favourite to see off Brandon Nakashima than he actually is. These two met at Delray Beach last month and the Italian came out 2-0 on that occasions and although Nakashima had a good run in Acapulco since then there are question marks over that event with all the food poisoning doing the rounds out there.

Arnaldi goes into this match off the back of a very strong win over an Andrey Rublev who was in decent enough form going into the contest so that is a win which carries plenty of weight. Nakashima was solid enough against Rinky Hijikata in the previous round but the first set of that one was a very competitive set and I think Arnaldi is more than a leg up on the Australian ability wise. A recent win and a much stronger form line so far this week makes me think the Italian is worthy of support here.

Tips

Back M.Arnaldi to beat B.Nakashima for a 3/10 stake at 1.91 with Betfred
