CSA T20 Challenge – Sunday 4th December Matches Betting Preview

The CSA T20 Challenge continues on Sunday with a double header of action from Kingsmead in Durban. The two matches carry some real significance and for the first time this season someone other than the Titans could be leading the way come the end of the day. Both matches are on the TV so we should get some decent action to enjoy.

Highveld Lions vs Warriors

Two form sides meet in the first match when the top spot chasing Warriors battle it out with a Highveld Lions side who have eyes on the playoffs themselves so this should be a cracking opener to a big day of action in the tournament.

The Lions go into this one off the back of a comfortable win over the Knights last time out while the Warriors saw off the Titans which means that they will top the table with a win in this one. The Lions will go into third with a win so there is plenty at stake.

There probably won’t be a lot between these two sides when all is said and done but I like the make up of this Lions attack especially the spin options they have and it is that which could well make the difference in this one.

Dolphins vs Cape Cobras

This match is huge for both sides. The Dolphins begin the day in third place in the table but they might have lost that position before they toss the coin for this match. Cape Cobras are running out of matches to get into the top three and defeat here could be terminal for their chances.

Dolphins saw off the Titans in their last match and the big thing for them is that Kevin Pietersen hasn’t contributed anything significant yet and you would think it is unlikely he will go the remainder of the tournament without producing something substantial.

The Cobras started the season off very slowly indeed but with players coming back to fitness they are set for a big end to the campaign. A couple of rain affected matches haven’t helped their cause so they are better side than their league placings would suggest.

I actually think we might see a few sixes in this match. There are plenty of players on show here with big egos and clearing the ropes with the eyes of many on them will be right up their street. From KP to van Wyk through Frylinck and Delport to Levi, Ontong, Pollard and Kleinveldt the hitters keep coming in this one and a 10 or more line looks perfectly achievable.
