We have another day of FIFA World Cup European Qualifiers on Saturday when three more groups get played out over three kick off times as we go a step closer to finding out who will make it through to the finals of the global competition.
Some big countries are on show on Saturday looking to pick up three points which will see them move a step closer to USA, Mexico or Canada next summer while a number of challengers will be looking to upset them.
Saturday’s fixtures are as follows: (19.45 unless stated; UK TV in brackets)
Bosnia and Herzegovina vs San Marino (14.00)
Andorra vs England (17.00 – ITV1)
Malta vs Lithuania (17.00)

Preview
The day begins in Group H as Bosnia and Herzegovina look to maintain their 100% start to the group when they welcome the minnows of San Marino to their part of the world. Two matches kick off in the middle part of the day with England looking to maintain their perfect beginning to qualifying when they head to Barcelona to take on lowly Andorra. Two minnows in Group G meet in the other 5pm kick off when Malta takes on Lithuania in a match that both have to win if they are to have any chance to doing anything in this campaign.
The better looking three matches come along in the later part of the day. Austria begin their campaign to qualify for the World Cup when they host Romania while the Netherlands also get their qualifying competition started. They make the trip to Finland for their opening game of Group G with the other match taking us to Group K where Serbia are the team starting their bid to make it through to the finals. They travel to Albania for a tricky looking test.
Betting
I’ll go with a couple of bets over the course of the day on Saturday with the first of them coming in the match between Andorra and England where the odds against quote on Bukayo Saka to score anytime is just way too big. Given that he hasn’t played as much as many players in Thomas Tuchel’s squad since the turn of the year because of injury, the fact he hasn’t played for him yet and that he wasn’t involved in any European final unlike a few in the attacking area of the pitch, I expect Saka to get a decent run out here and he should be a huge threat for England throughout. Saka scored in both matches the last time Andorra were in an England group and this England team is much better now. He shouldn’t be short of chances and at the prices I have to take him to find the net here.
The other bet I like on the day is over 2.5 goals between Austria and Romania. Romania are going to be without one of their better defenders, if not their best, in Radu Dragusin who is out injured so that should allow a vibrant Austria attack to have some joy but we’ve seen throughout their time under Ralf Rangnick that this Austrian defence can be got at and without a key defender Romania might need to fight fire with fire. We saw at the Euros last year that they have goals in them and we know that Austria do too so it would be a surprise if this one doesn’t ignite nicely for over 2.5 goals to land.
