FIFA World Cup 2026 European Qualifiers – Tuesday 10th June Matches Tips, TV and Betting Preview

The latest batch of matches in the FIFA World Cup European Qualifiers conclude on Tuesday evening when the groups that were in action on Saturday return to entertain us with another six games taking place across the continent.

We’ve seen some decent action throughout this international break so far and there is no reason to think that will change here with three points very much sought after by some big teams who could really do with them.

Tuesday’s fixtures are as follows: (All 7.45pm; UK TV in brackets)

Finland vs Poland (Amazon Prime Video PPV)

Latvia vs Albania

Netherlands vs Malta

Romania vs Cyprus

San Marino vs Austria

Serbia vs Andorra

Preview

It feels like a big night in Group G where two matches take place. The current top two meet in Helsinki when the leaders Poland make the trip over to Finland for what could be a key clash. Poland will have three wins from three should they win and they might feel they need it because the Netherlands are underway for their campaign and will be massively expected to make it two wins from two matches in the section when Malta are the visitors to Groningen.

Group H is the next group on show where Bosnia and Herzegovina are the early pacesetters but they aren’t on show. They can’t be caught over the course of the night but Austria will be looking to make it successive wins to open up their campaign when they travel to San Marino while in the other match Romania chase a second win when Cyprus are the visitors. Group K completes the night where the leaders England have the evening off. Albania will look to move to within two points of England when they head to Latvia while in the other game Serbia take on Andorra.

Betting

There isn’t a huge amount that I like over the course of Tuesday but I can’t really ignore Albania away to Latvia. Latvia didn’t play a qualifier on Saturday night but they did play a friendly against Azerbaijan and while we shouldn’t necessarily judge teams on friendlies, they didn’t win that match and I would have Albania down as a stronger opponent than Azerbaijan. Albania did play a qualifier on Saturday where they held Serbia to a goalless draw.

That isn’t a bad result anyway but they won the xG total in that match 1.08-0.53 and that was a tasty Serbia attack and a strong Serbian defence. I don’t think either adjective would be used to describe the equivalent units in the Latvia side so I do think that Albania will win but they are not a team who run up the score so bumping the price up by including under 4.5 goals to the bet. Albania haven’t had an over 4.5 games for 37 matches dating back to November 2021 while only one of the last 18 Latvia games have gone over. Both sides have already met England in this qualifying campaign and under 4.5 landed both times so I’m confident that will land and I fancy Albania to be just slightly too good so that’s the bet for me on the final night of this international window.

Tips

Back Albania to beat Latvia and under 4.5 goals for a 3/10 stake at 1.91 with Coral
