MLS 2018 – Saturday 28th April Matches Betting Preview

It is a busy evening in the MLS on Saturday night as the bulk of the latest round of matches take place on either coast in America and among them we have some great looking encounters to look forward to.

We have seven matches in all to look forward to and two of those are live on Sky for those of us in the UK so we have plenty to enjoy. The other five matches will be shown on the bookmaker streams so we can enjoy all the games.

Saturday’s matches are as follows: (UK kick off time in brackets)

Atlanta United vs Montreal Impact (18.00)

Toronto FC vs Chicago Fire (20.00)

Philadelphia Union vs DC United (20.30)

Columbus Crew vs San Jose Earthquakes (00.30)

New England Revolution vs Sporting Kansas City (00.30)

Minnesota United vs Houston Dynamo (01.00)

Los Angeles Galaxy vs New York Red Bulls (03.30)

Big Matches

The two live games for those of us in the UK are the opening two of the evening. The match between Atlanta United and Montreal Impact looks particularly juicy while the other game sees the champions Toronto FC looking to get over their agonising penalty shootout defeat in the NACL final in midweek when they play host to the Chicago Fire in the Eastern Conference.

Best of the Rest

All eyes will be on the Stubhub Center late into the night when Zlatan and his Los Angeles Galaxy side host the New York Red Bulls who are in decent touch right now. Sporting Kansas City will look to extend their lead in the West when they travel to the New England Revolution with the other three matches seeing Columbus Crew facing San Jose Earthquakes, Philadelphia Union playing DC United and Minnesota United meeting Houston Dynamo.

Betting

I’ll go with two bets over the course of the night. They start with the first match of the evening where Atlanta United host Montreal Impact. I don’t think you need to be a genius to work out we should be expecting goals here. Atlanta score them for fun especially at the Mercedes Benz Stadium while we saw last week how Montreal can be involved in crazy games when they lost 5-3 to Los Angeles FC. Both these sides prefer to attack and should deliver more than 3.25 goals here.

Later in the evening I’m expecting goals in Minnesota where Minnesota United host the Houston Dynamo. It is nothing new to expect goals in matches involving these two sides whoever they are playing but when they play themselves the goals should really flow. You worry about both defensively but both can find the back of the net and goals really should be automatic in this one.

Tips

WON – Back Atlanta United vs Montreal Impact – Over 3.25 goals for a 4/10 stake at 1.80 with BetVictor

PUSH – Back Minnesota United vs Houston Dynamo – Over 3 goals for a 4/10 stake at 2.00 with BetVictor
