Preview

There are three matches in the Western Conference on Saturday evening and two from the East where Orlando City will be looking to strengthen their top seven chances when they entertain the champions Columbus Crew at Exploria Stadium. Two of the bottom four meet in the other match in the East on the evening when Inter Miami look to continue their recent good form when they make the trip to take on FC Cincinnati.

Over in the Western Conference it could be a big evening for the Vancouver Whitecaps as they could finish the night in the top seven if they can see off Austin FC in the first of the three matches in that table. Should the Whitecaps win that match it is Real Salt Lake who they will replace in the top seven. Salt Lake have the chance to move back in there when they take on FC Dallas while in the latter game San Jose Earthquakes will look to strengthen their top seven hopes when they host the high flying Colorado Rapids.

Betting

I’ll go with the one over the course of the evening. There are so many players on international duty on Saturday that finding standout bets isn’t the easiest thing on the night. There is one which jumps out though partly because of the form of the champions Columbus Crew without the international players they will be missing. The Crew beat FC Cincinnati last week but it took the brilliance of Lucas Zelarayan to do it and even then they didn’t look particularly great.

Orlando City have found getting over the line a little difficult in recent weeks with draws in a lot of matches but they face an opponent who had lost six in a row prior to that narrow success last week and who are missing a whole heap of players through injury and international commitments. Orlando will be without their keeper but importantly for them Daryl Dike hasn’t been called up so Orlando won’t be too inconvenienced by injuries. This looks like a great chance for Orlando to pick up another win.

Tips

Back Orlando City to beat Columbus Crew for a 3/10 stake at 1.83 with Betfair
