NFL 2019 – Week 13 Sunday Early Games Tips and Betting Preview

Week 13 of the NFL campaign began with three very good matches on Thanksgiving Day and continues on Sunday with another excellent list of games, including what many believe could be a dress rehearsal of the Super Bowl, on what looks like another quality day of football.

As ever those of us in the UK have a couple of live matches to enjoy in full and then for the rest of the action there is the Red Zone coverage or the game passes that are on offer so there is no need to miss any of a decent looking card.

1pm Kick Offs (6pm UK time)

It is in this first set of matches that we have that juicy looking clash between arguably the best two teams in the NFL right now as the Baltimore Ravens host the San Francisco 49ers. That is the TV match in this kick off slot. There are a couple of divisional clashes in these games as well with the Pittsburgh Steelers going up against the Cleveland Browns after the fallout of their first meeting a couple of weeks ago. Indianapolis Colts host the Tennessee Titans in the other one.

Elsewhere the Green Bay Packers will look to continue their march towards the playoffs when they head to the Big Apple to take on the New York Giants while the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Miami Dolphins. Jacksonville Jaguars go up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with two of the worst teams in the league meeting in Ohio where the winless Cincinnati Bengals welcome the New York Jets. The other match sees the Carolina Panthers hosting the Washington Redskins.

4.05/4.25pm Kick Offs (9.05/9.25pm UK time)

There are three matches in the later slot on Sunday and they are all divisional clashes. On the TV on this side of the pond we will be entertained by the shootout for top spot in the AFC West as the Kansas City Chiefs host the Oakland Raiders in a quality looking match. The other two matches see the Arizona Cardinals hosting the Los Angeles Rams while the other LA outfit, Los Angeles Chargers, take on the Denver Broncos down in Colorado.

Betting

I’ll go with a couple here which are in each of the two televised matches. The weather forecast in Baltimore is absolutely shocking for game time, which is one way is a shame because it is likely to neutralise some of the leading players in the league this season, not least Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, but in another way it is fine because we should get to see some old school winter football and with that I expect the scoring to be on the low side. I say that because both teams will be running the ball at will anyway but the defences are likely to enjoy more of this one. When San Francisco 49ers played Washington in similar conditions they only won 9-0 and while I’m not expecting this one to be quite so low scoring, there is enough to believe that a 45.5pt line is a few too high.

In the other televised match I am expecting to see the opposite, with points coming pretty readily. A largely indifferent New York Jets offense put up more than 30pts on the Oakland Raiders last week so you’ve got to think the Kansas City Chiefs will be able to score at ease here but the Chiefs defence always gives opposing sides a chance which will keep Oakland interested for long periods. The points line here isn’t all that high for a match involving Patrick Mahomes and co at just 48. That might be because of the magnitude of the match but I still expect to see more than 48pts in this encounter.
