Premier League 2022-23 – Sunday 9th October Matches Tips, TV and Betting Preview

An already extremely entertaining and high scoring Premier League weekend continues on Sunday when four more games take place on a day which promises a lot more of what we got on Saturday in terms of excitement.

Three of the four matches are live on TV for us in the UK to enjoy and I’m sure there will be regular updates on the other match throughout the TV coverage so we can stay up to date with everything that is going on.

Preview

The day begins in the capital where the first of the three TV games takes us to Selhurst Park as Crystal Palace will look to get their campaign back on track after an unfortunate defeat to Chelsea last week. They host a Leeds United team who could do with a consistent run of form themselves. While that match is going on we have a London derby away from the cameras as West Ham United take on a Fulham side who will be hoping to rebound from their mauling by Newcastle last weekend.

The big match of the day comes in the third game of Sunday as the leaders going into the weekend, Arsenal, go up against a Liverpool side who will be heading to the Emirates Stadium looking to get their Premier League form back on track. The final match of the day comes from Goodison Park where Everton will have their defensive record tested when a Manchester United side eager to put their humbling in the derby last week behind them.

Betting

The match which gets my attention from a betting point of view on Sunday is the last one to kick off where I fancy we might see a high scoring encounter between Everton and Manchester United. Much has been made of the fact that no team have conceded fewer goals this season than Everton but that is a very deceptive record because they are coughing up a bunch of chances and with the quality of finishers in the visiting side here you would expect a fair number of them to be taken.

We have seen with our own eyes that this Manchester United defence doesn’t take much opening up and Everton have the pace both through the middle and in wider areas to do it so although they haven’t been the most profitable team in front of goal this term, you sense that they will be able to add to their goals tally in this one. There is a good chance of goals at both ends in a match both will be eager to win. I like over 2.5 goals here.

Tips

Back Everton vs Man Utd – Over 2.5 goals for a 3/10 stake at 1.80 with William Hill
