There is a midweek round of matches in the Premier League this week and it gets underway with two matches on Tuesday evening where the bottom end of the table is very much in the spotlight as the battle for points to beat the drop resumes.
Both of these matches are live to watch on Amazon Prime in the UK but you will need a couple of devices if you want to catch every minute of both of them because they clash at various points of the evening.
Ipswich Town vs Crystal Palace (19.30)
The first match of the week comes from Portman Road where two sides with just two wins to their name from a combined 26 matches between them meet when Ipswich Town take on Crystal Palace in a game which has probably been circled on the calendar in both dressing rooms as one which is must-win for both.
These two begin the night locked on nine points with Palace two places above Ipswich courtesy of their better goal difference. The one thing that these two sides have in common is their win has come against Tottenham and they haven’t won a game against anyone else. Ipswich haven’t been disgraced in this league and have drawn four of their last five home games. Palace have only lost one of their last five matches and have Ebere Eze back and he generally makes a difference for them. I wouldn’t be surprised if Palace win this but in truth I think the draw is a massive runner and I’m not in a position where I would want to trust either anyway. I’ll give this one a watch rather than bet on it.

Leicester City vs West Ham United (20.15)
The second match of the week takes us to the King Power Stadium where Ruud van Nistelrooy will be in charge of Leicester City for the first time when they host a West Ham United side who will be out to rebound from their battering at the hands of Arsenal at the weekend.
Leicester begin the night a point above the relegation zone and if they can find a win here it would give them a bit of a cushion as they settle into life under the Dutchman. West Ham kept the dogs at bay when they went to Newcastle and won last week but their mauling at the hands of Arsenal on Saturday night has piled the pressure back on them and a defeat here could easily spell the end for Julen Lopetegui particularly with what would then be a massive clash with Wolves to come on Monday night. It is always hard to be completely sure of what to expect when a new manager is involved but van Nistelrooy has at least just taken charge of Manchester United, where ironically he beat Leicester twice, to give us a flavour of what he might offer as Foxes boss. I think we’re going to get goals here. The attacks are much easier to trust than the defences from both of these sides and as such both teams to score and over 2.5 goals feels like a solid punt here. It has landed in eight of the 13 Leicester matches this season and six West Ham ones. With both sides believing they can win here I’m confident it lands again.
