The Premier League Darts season leaves the UK shores once again this week when Night 11 of the 2025 campaign takes place in Rotterdam where the crowds will be hoping that Michael van Gerwen is the one to land the nightly benefits.
There will be just five nights of the regular season remaining after this evening so the points are starting to become even more sought after and significant than they were which should add to the competitiveness of the action.
Chris Dobey vs Luke Humphries
The opening quarter final out in Holland will see Chris Dobey probably drinking at the last chance saloon when he goes up against a man who knows full well that he will be at the o2 Arena whatever happens over the next few weeks.
Dobey has just seven points from his 10 weeks graft so far and he is going to need to win a couple of the last six nights at the very least if he is going to force his way into the top four come the end of the campaign. With 23 points and two nightly wins and three more finals, Humphries is in a great place to deliver on a season which he hopes will result in a maiden Premier League crown. These two have met three times in the Premier League this term and Dobey has won a combined eight legs in total which probably highlights the size of the task here. If I could have got Humphries on a -1.5 leg handicap here I probably would have taken it but it isn’t a price so unless you are thinking of accas or something this is probably one to leave alone in my opinion.
Gerwyn Price vs Nathan Aspinall
The second of the quarter finals is the one in which the winner last week in Manchester comes to the party when Nathan Aspinall goes up against Gerwyn Price in what is probably the most significant match of the entire evening.
These two men sit third and fourth with Price above Aspinall on nightly wins but one of them will move to 17 points and open up a bit of a game between themselves and the bottom four which with time running out in the regular season could be key. Aspinall won last week, he has won and made the final of the last two European Tour events too so he is coming here in decent touch and he has won the last two nights in Rotterdam on top of that. Price has probably thrown the better darts of the two over the course of the season but we know that the short format can throw up shocks with timing all key. This one could genuinely go either way. Price has won both of their Premier League meetings this season but Aspinall kept his confidence high with a run to the final of the Players Championship event earlier in the week and he loves it here. The value lies with the Englishman in this one.

Stephen Bunting vs Michael van Gerwen
The penultimate quarter final on Thursday evening will see the home favourite Michael van Gerwen coming out to play when he goes up against the man currently bottom of the table in the form of Stephen Bunting.
Were Dobey to lose the opening quarter final, Bunting could come off the bottom of the table with a win in this match with the potential to build from there. You would think if the Bullet is going to make it to the o2 Arena then he has to win three of the last six nights at least and he could really do with that run beginning here. That would be easy against the man who has the crowd behind him but MVG would have come here in much better form and fitness in each of the last two years and he lost in the quarter final and although he made the final in the first night of this format in this building, in the quarter final he averaged just 89.53 in beating Michael Smith before losing to Joe Cullen in the final so his record in front of his home fans isn’t great in this tournament. It may or may not be significant that Bunting won the only other European night of the Premier League and although he was well beaten by Luke Humphries in the quarter final last week, Humphries averaged a pretty ridiculous 118.43 against him so the Bullet didn’t really have a chance. These two have met once in the Premier League this term which was in night two where MVG won 6-1 with a 109.16 average. He doesn’t look in that sort of shape to me here though so I think this is a good chance for Bunting to get some revenge.
Luke Littler vs Rob Cross
The last of the quarter finals will see Luke Littler looking to get back on track after a run of two weeks without a Premier League nightly title. Rob Cross is the man who could face the backlash in the opening game of the event for both men.
Cross has been competitive in this tournament and had the highlight of the nine darter earlier in the campaign, although Littler managed that since then. Cross comes in here having lost his last four matches in all competitions and he has had an illness in that time too which you wonder if he is fully over or not. These two have already met four times in this Premier League campaign and Littler has won the lot, coming from 5-1 down to beat Cross in the first of those contests before being much more comfortable in the last three. I expect Littler to win here too. I would ordinarily look at the Cross three dart average for a play in this one as I’ve explained before but if he isn’t still completely 100% that could fall on its backside so I’ll skip that for the week and leave this last quarter final.
Night 11 Betting
After finally landing a nightly winner last week I was hoping to get stuck into the market to look and build on that this week. This was always going to be a tricky week to find value though because it is one of those where Luke Humphries and Luke Littler are in opposite halves of the draw and although neither made the final in Berlin two weeks ago, Humphries did last week but he beat Littler in the semi-finals along the way so they couldn’t have both been in the final.
Those two have been in opposite halves of the draw on six occasions and have met in the final three times so you would have to say that the odds on them meeting in the final here look good too, especially with neither man playing someone in the top four in the quarter final where they would be at their most vulnerable. If you like riding home support then 10/1 Michael van Gerwen could be value while Nathan Aspinall is a similar price to last week but the Humphries vs Littler potential final puts me off getting involved here.
