Premier League – Saturday 25th February Matches Betting Preview

The Premier League returns from the FA Cup break on Saturday with six matches in a reduced fixture list this weekend due to the EFL Cup Final. Although only 12 sides are in action this remains a key day of action with Chelsea looking to extend their lead at the top and a number of sides looking to better their positions at the bottom.

There is no early game on Saturday so we have the two kick off times to get stuck into – 3pm and the later live match.

3pm Matches

Leaders Chelsea will be looking to move 11pts clear once again when they kick off the 3pm games. They host a rejuvenated Swansea who could go seven points clear of danger with a win of their own.

Two sides right in the thick of the relegation fight meet at Selhurst Park when Crystal Palace host Middlesbrough while bottom placed Sunderland head to Everton in a match they need something from. Elsewhere West Brom host freefalling Bournemouth and Hull City host Burnley.

Late Game

The action ends at Vicarage Road where two sides in mid-table meet as Watford host West Ham. Both sides should be fine in terms of safety this season and a win will have both eyeing up a late run for European football over the last couple of months of the campaign.

Betting

There is just the one bet for me on Saturday and it comes at the KC Stadium where an improving Hull City side can continue their improvement against a Burnley who have done brilliantly this season but who are wretched away from Turf Moor.

Going into this match Hull have only lost one of their last seven at home in the Premier League and that was against Man City which can be excused. In that time they have beaten Man Utd in the second leg of the EFL Cup semi-final too so they are doing good things at home under Marco Silva.

Burnley are reeling from being beaten by Lincoln last weekend and while they are getting closer to a result on the road I don’t expect it to come here given that Hull have spent the last two weeks with their feet up preparing for this one.

Tips

Back Hull City (-0.25AH) to beat Burnley for a 4/10 stake at 1.87 with BetVictor
