Premier League – Saturday 29th April Matches Betting Preview

There is a full round of Premier League matches over the weekend but only half of them take place on Saturday, a day where the foot of the table is in the spotlight once again. The six sides immediately above the relegation zone are in action on Saturday across just two kick off times.

3pm Matches

Hull City are one of those sides around the relegation zone and they head to Southampton on Saturday while West Ham go to Stoke. West Ham should be safe as should Bournemouth but the Cherries should be able to guarantee safety when they go to Sunderland. Defeat could condemn Sunderland to the drop. West Brom host Leicester in the other match.

Late Game

Two sides who aren’t yet safe are Crystal Palace and Burnley and they meet in the late game at Selhurst Park. Palace have looked good recently but they have had a heavy schedule over the last couple of weeks whereas Burnley have been light in terms of game time. That might add an interesting dynamic to that match.

Betting

There is only one bet for me on Saturday and it comes at the Stadium of Light. Bournemouth walloped one side who are going down in Middlesbrough last week and they can ensure their Premier League survival by getting a win against another one in Sunderland.

Sunderland aren’t good enough at this level and will be relegated. Bournemouth will want to finish the season strongly and have an ideal chance to pick up three points here. Josh King is in good scoring form and it could be that one goal is enough. However many they need I think they have it in them and they are a great bet on a crazy draw no bet line.
