Premier League – Sunday 6th November Matches Betting Preview

Saturday was a hugely dramatic day in the Premier League, a day where the leadership of the division changed and it could change two more times on Sunday when the chasing pack launch their latest tilt at leaders Chelsea as five more matches take place.

Matches kick off over four different kick off times on Sunday with three of the games on TV so we’re all set for another cracking day of action to head into the international break.

Arsenal vs Tottenham

The day begins with the North London Derby and a much anticipated one it is too. Arsenal are on the up whereas Spurs go into the game under something of a cloud of doom but Arsenal haven’t suddenly become world beaters and at the same time Spurs haven’t become rubbish.

On what we’ve seen recently you would have to favour Arsenal in this match but Spurs are a different animal with Harry Kane back in their side and he returns from injury for this one so this is a no bet match for me.

Hull vs Southampton

Hull are in the middle of a horrible run of form at the minute but they might just be catching Southampton at the right time. We saw Manchester City struggle to win on Saturday soon after one of the biggest results in their history and that is something Southampton will have to fight with after the huge night against Inter Milan on Thursday.

That said Hull are in poor form at the minute and without their talisman in Robert Snodgrass so I don’t want to be taking Southampton on. This is another one for me to sit out.

Liverpool vs Watford

This is the second televised game of the day and on paper it looks a good one. Liverpool can go top of the pile if Arsenal have slipped up earlier in the afternoon while Watford will be looking to continue their improvement on a big stage.

The Man Utd game aside, Liverpool have been pretty rampant at home this season but Watford tend to give as good as they get. I think the handicap is a little large for Liverpool here with a one goal win a strong possibility but I do expect to see goals. Liverpool have scored for fun at times but Watford certainly have goals in them against a leaky defence. I think there is enough of a margin to go at the over 3 goals.

Swansea vs Man Utd

Two sides in desperate need of a win oppose in the penultimate match of the day as Swansea host Man Utd at the Liberty Stadium. Swansea have been very poor this season but their new attacking approach might well work against Man Utd.

We all know about Man Utd this season. They have convinced nobody and are finding goals very hard to come by suddenly. Paul Pogba is a doubt which doesn’t help and neither does the suspension of Ander Herrera. If I had to commit I would suggest Swansea will get a result here but poor teams do poor things which puts me off.

Leicester vs West Brom

The champions Leicester take on Tony Pulis and his West Brom side to round off the day. In fairness Leicester have been good at home but West Brom are hard to beat at the best of times so I’m struggling to pick this one.

Kasper Schmeichel’s injury is very much a concern in taking the home side but I’m not one to get behind West Brom too often especially away from home. This is another one which has a no bet feel about it and that is now I’m going to play it.
