One of the five matches is live on the main channel and three of the other four can be viewed behind the red button so if you have a bet over the course of the evening there is no reason not to be able to keep up with it in the main.

Birmingham City vs Peterborough United

Coventry City vs Stoke City

Luton Town vs Bristol City

Preview

The televised match comes from the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium where QPR have the chance to move into the top three when they play host to a Swansea City side who have flattered to deceive a little bit this season. They need a big second half of the campaign if they are going to achieve anything this term. Three other sides in the top 10 are also in action on Tuesday evening. Nottingham Forest are one of those and they play host to bottom of the pile Barnsley who are desperate for a win. The other two play each other when Coventry City take on Stoke City.

The other two matches sees four teams in the bottom half of the table battling it out with the incentive for Luton Town being a place in the top 10 at the end of the night. In order to achieve that they will need to see off Bristol City at Kenilworth Road. The other match sees Peterborough United looking to draw level on points with Reading in the battle to avoid the drop. They head across to Birmingham City who will be looking for successive wins against sides in the bottom three having taken care of Barnsley at the weekend. Victory for the Blues would pretty much end any relegation fears.

Betting

Nottingham Forest haven’t always been my favourite team to follow this season but they look pretty good things against a Barnsley side who are showing absolutely nothing on the road this season. They are still searching for their first win and only have four draws in their 13 games away from Oakwell this term and sit absolutely rock bottom of a league which has seen one team deducted 21 points and another six points. To say this has been a poor season for the Tykes would be something of an understatement.

Nottingham Forest have won five of their last seven matches with the two defeats in that time coming to Middlesbrough and Huddersfield who are both in and around the top six. Even then they should have beaten Huddersfield but couldn’t put the ball in the back of the net. Forest have won three of the last four at the City Ground and in that time they have touched off Arsenal in the FA Cup as well so confidence should be starting to build on the Trent. They will be buoyed by the derby win at the weekend and can follow that up with a win over a dismal Barnsley side.

Tips

WON – Back Nottingham Forest (-0.75AH) to beat Barnsley for a 3/10 stake at 1.80 with William Hill
