We have two more matches in the Super League on Friday evening as the race for the semi-final spots intensifies and there are a couple of big matches which could have big implications on that race taking place.
As ever on a Friday night we have a live game to enjoy in front of the cameras and there will be plenty of other ways to keep up to date with the other game. We will kick off the preview with the live match.
Hull FC vs Castleford Tigers
Two sides who are undergoing extremely different upturns in form meet at the KCOM Stadium in front of the cameras on Friday evening when Hull FC play host to the Castleford Tigers in a match which is bigger for the away side than the home one.
Hull FC go into the match off the back of a savage beating by the Warrington Wolves last week. That was not the first really tough loss they have had and while they have a plethora of significant injuries questions are still entitled to be asked over the manner of some of the defeats Hull FC have endured.
Castleford head into the match in much better form of the two with three wins from their last four matches and they have Ben Roberts and Luke Gale back from their long-term injuries so everything is good about the Tigers right now which is never a bad place to be at this stage of the season.
Looking at this objectively I think the common thought is that Castleford should win this going away and I’m going to back them to do just that. It is going to be so hard for Hull FC to get up for this one so I’ll take the Tigers to cover 14pts.

Warrington Wolves vs Huddersfield Giants
The match away from the cameras on Friday evening sees the Warrington Wolves looking to continue their push for a top four spot against the side who are the biggest dangers to that position in the Huddersfield Giants.
Warrington will be looking to build on their fine win over Hull FC last week to banish the memories of the Challenge Cup final while Huddersfield know that they are drinking at the last chance saloon in terms of making it into the playoffs. If they lose here it is hard to see how they can make it into the top four come the end of the season.
Given what this means to Huddersfield I expect them to put up a real fight here. I wouldn’t be completely surprised if they win the match but this has to be a tight tussle unless Warrington get away from them early. It is all about just winning the game for the Wolves which should allow the Giants to remain within 12pts.
