The penultimate day of action in the UEFA Nations League 2024-25 competition for the current international break is played out on Monday when another 10 games take place across the continent with valuable points at stake.
After a day off on Sunday, the top flight is back on Monday and we get to see footballing powerhouses such as Germany and the Netherlands over the course of the evening while Wales are also in action as well.
League A
Two groups are in action in the top flight on Monday evening and one of them is Group 2 which is becoming one of the more interesting sections where three teams are in with a chance of winning it heading into the second half of the campaign. Italy still head the way in it and they have the easier of the matches on paper when they host Israel while the other match sees Belgium hosting their nemesis France in the game of the night. Group 3 is the other one in action with the top two meeting when Germany can all but secure a semi-final spot when they host the Netherlands. The Dutch will go top of the table if they can win. The other match is the relegation fight between Bosnia-Herzegovina and Hungary.
League B
Two more groups take place in League B as well with Group 1 one of them. This is a fairly tight group where the leaders Georgia are on show when they host Albania in one of only two early kick offs on the night. When they are done, Ukraine and Czechia get it on in the same group. The other section on show in the second tier is Group 4 where Turkey will be looking to continue their path to promotion when they make the trip to Iceland. Wales will be hoping that Turkey are beaten in that game and if they are then Craig Bellamy can lead his side into top spot ahead of a showdown with Turkey next month should the Welsh win at home to Montenegro.

League C
Just the one group takes place in League C on Monday night but we should still get some decent action from it. Group 1 is the section in question where Sweden will be looking to maintain their lead at the top of the table. They head to Tallinn for a clash with Estonia, who will be looking to really fire themselves into the mix. The other match is the other early kick off on the night where Slovakia will look to keep pace with Sweden ahead of their return fixture next month. They make the trip to Azerbaijan for whom this has all been a little too much for them so far in this group.
Betting
Georgia have already beaten Albania in this UEFA Nations League season and I think they can do the double over them on Monday evening when the two sides meet in Tbilisi. Georgia have made such strides in recent times that it was actually something of a surprise that they were beaten by Ukraine on Friday night but they are a really good side at home and will fancy their chances of getting back on track with a win here and ensure they go into the final international window on top of the group.
Albania did well to qualify for Euro 2024 but they had the weakest qualifying group and didn’t really offer much when they were there. The likes of Armando Broja and Rey Manaj are out injured which isn’t going to help the cause for the visitors. Albania haven’t scored in their last two matches and even when qualifying for the Euros, Albania could only draw their last two matches against Moldova and Faroe Islands. These two look to be going in opposite directions and when you throw in the Georgian home advantage I like them at even money in this one.
