The Vitality Blast continues on Sunday afternoon when another four matches take place across the two groups on a day where we continue to move towards the halfway point of the league phase of the competition.
The World Test Championship final is over now which means that we can have one of the matches on TV throughout the day and if you have a bet on one of the other three games you can follow that via the live stream that the home county will provide.
North Group
The North Group table is quite something in behind the leaders Northamptonshire. Just two wins separate second and bottom and with the Steelbacks not on show on Sunday four teams have the chance to enhance their position and close the gap at the same time. Leicestershire are the highest placed team on show and they will look to bounce back from defeat on Saturday when they host a Worcestershire team who will be looking for a win which would put them back in the mix. Yorkshire have dropped to the bottom of the table in the North Group and they will look to climb up it when they host a suddenly rejuvenated Durham at York.

South Group
It is from the South Group where the TV attention will come from. The leaders of the pack Somerset are on show as they look to make it six wins out of six when they welcome a potentially dangerous but inconsistent Kent side to Taunton for what should be an entertaining match. Gloucestershire were champions of this competition last season and this time around they are yet to win after four attempts. They will be eager to change that when they welcome a Glamorgan side to Bristol who will be reeling from their loss to Sussex on Saturday evening.
Betting
There isn’t a huge amount that I fancy over the course of the day, largely because a couple of these matches have teams backing up showings from the day before but I don’t fancy their opponents to take advantage of that strongly enough. I was hoping for a performance line on a couple of players in the North Group but annoyingly there isn’t one on the men I was looking for so in the end I’ve gone with one from the TV game.
That is over 14.5 sixes. I don’t think I need to go into too much depth about the size of the boundary at Taunton, we all know they are small and the pitches are generally very good. Kent matches this season have in the main all been relatively high scoring having scored 170 or more in four of their five games and conceded that many in all four bowling innings in the tournament. Somerset are batting well too and the last match here on Thursday night had 27 sixes. I expect this one to have at least 15.
