We have another day of action in the Vitality T20 Blast on Sunday afternoon where six matches take place in the competition across the two groups as we begin to head towards the halfway point of the first part of the tournament.
The England vs West Indies T20 has the TV attention on Sunday afternoon so if you are having a bet on any of these matches and want to track the progress you’ll need to load up the live stream offered up by the home county.
North Group
Northamptonshire have been perfect for the competition so far and have won four out of four and they will be looking to maintain their 100% record when they head to Old Trafford to take on a Lancashire side who themselves have three wins from their four matches. The other team in the group to have won three matches already are Leicestershire and they head to Headingley to take on a Yorkshire side who have lost their first three matches and are in desperate need of a win here. The other match in the North Group comes from Edgbaston where the Birmingham Bears will seek out a second win in the competition when they meet winless Derbyshire.

South Group
Two sides are perfect in the South Group heading into the Sunday action but Hampshire are the only one of the pair who are on show over the course of the day. They will be looking for a fourth win from four when they go to Canterbury to take on Kent. Two sides with two wins from three meet in one of the other matches when Hove plays host to the match between Sussex and Glamorgan. Two struggling sides face off in the other game at Chelmsford where winless Essex and Middlesex face off in a match neither can afford to lose.
Betting
There were a couple of bets in the North Group that were going to tempt me throughout the day but the forecast for that part of the world isn’t encouraging sadly so I’ll take my attention to the South Group where I am looking to the match between Sussex and Glamorgan where a performance bet takes my fancy. That comes in the form of the Glamorgan all-rounder Ben Kellaway who has an incredibly low looking performance line at 21.5 points.
The spin bowling batter is having a very good season. In the Championship in the lead up to the Blast he scored 54* in the first innings against Middlesex, 74 in the second dig against Derbyshire, 181* against Kent and 95 against Northants so he is full of confidence with the bat. That hasn’t really translated into the Blast where he has scores of 14, 13 and 15 but he has taken wickets in all three matches Glamorgan have played, including two against Essex last time out. Sussex have four left-handers in their top six so he is likely to bowl a number of overs and he bats at three for this Glamorgan outfit. Were he to take a wicket we’d need two runs for this line to be covered but even without a wicket he has the class to get to 22 with the bat. However it is done I like this performance to be covered.
