India managed to keep the T20 series against West Indies alive in emphatic fashion earlier in the week which means that we have competitive action when the two sides meet in game four of five in America on Saturday.
The two teams have moved on to Florida for the remainder of the series with West Indies knowing one win in the last two will give them the spoils, while India know they have to run the gauntlet from here on in.
West Indies
I don’t think you can say that West Indies were not good value for their two wins to open up the series but I do think it is fair to say that they took advantage of India not being at their best in both of those games. That is absolutely fine but when the push comes to the shove when the opposition to deliver their best you can be found wanting and that is what happened to West Indies in the third match of the series.
To their credit, they tried pretty much everything but ran into a monster innings after posting a score, which while it looked challenging, took far too long for the gears to be moved through so could have been even higher. It will be interesting to see how West Indies go about their business here as there is no point in going into their shackles on a high scoring ground, but playing freely can come with some risks.
India
The Indians were crying out for the few senior batters that they have played for them in this series to step up and be counted and that is what happened in the third game as Suryakumar Yadav got them home in comfortable fashion. The match was setup by the Indian bowlers, but in truth they have been going pretty well throughout the series so that wasn’t as much of a worry as what was to potentially come in the run chase.
As good teams often do though, their big players did step up and were counted when it really mattered and now the challenge for them is for that to be the case in the remainder of the series. You would think they would need a big score here so this one is on everyone in the batting to deliver the goods not just Yadav. The Indian bowling still looks strong so they should be finely placed if the batters can deliver once again.

Team News
West Indies left Jason Holder out for Roston Chase in the last game and that move didn’t really work at all. I expect them to switch back on a much smaller ground here. Shai Hope is pushing for a spot in the top order.
There is no need for India to make any changes after an emphatic win in the previous match but it might be that they don’t want to play three spinners. If that is the case then they could utilise an extra batter but that seems unlikely.
Betting
I think the sixes are the way forward in this one. The ground in Florida is not especially big and West Indies take matches here to showcase the sport so it is counterproductive to have a terrible pitch. There were 13 sixes on a bigger ground in Guyana in the previous game and the likes of Mayers, Charles and Pooran didn’t really get going so there is the potential for a lot more here. I like over 14.5 sixes in this one.
