France have already qualified from World Cup Group C and on Tuesday afternoon we will find out who will join them in the second round of the tournament when Denmark and Australia look to follow them through.
Denmark take on France in the last game in the group for both sides and they will be hoping France take their foot off the gas a little. Australia take on the only side who can no longer qualify from this section in Peru.

Denmark vs France
France go into their final match knowing that they are here for the knockout stages but they do still need a draw to secure top spot in the section. A draw will be fine for Denmark too which will be a concern for Australia but should the Danes win it will be them that top the section.
Denmark have largely sat back in this tournament and looked to catch teams on the break, hoping that their talisman Christian Eriksen can unlock the door of the opposition. You would think their tactics are unlikely to change here but it will be interesting to see what they have should they fall behind in this game.
The French have been so disappointing in this tournament so far. With their attacking quality it is so frustrating to see them sit back and play a containing style of football. Now that they have qualified hopefully Deschamps will let the handbrake up and we can see just what they have to offer. I won’t be holding my breath though.
Australia vs Peru
The equation is pretty simple for Australia. They go into this one knowing they have to win and hope that Denmark lose the other match. The bigger the win the better their chance of going straight through should the Danes fall to defeat.
Australia have given it a good go in this tournament and have had a bit of bad luck and a bit of a lack of quality in the final third but they are not afraid to have a go which is a positive for them heading into this one as that is the very least they are going to have to do. There is a shaky look to them defensively though.
Peru have actually looked the best team in the group in two thirds of the pitch but they have been unable to get the ball in the net and that has cost them dearly but they’ve been great to watch and you would hope from their point of view that with the pressure off they can show some composure in or around the box to go home with something to show for their efforts.

Betting
I can’t really be betting on the game between France and Denmark. The draw being enough for both to achieve their goal is far too strong for me to be getting involved in that one. If one of them shows some intent we might be able to get going in running on it but until then it isn’t for me.
The other game looks to have a lot of goal potential about it. Australia have to come out at Peru which should leave the space for the South Americans to counter as they love to do. There should be a lot of chances in this match and if the forward players can show the composure to find the back of the net we should see the goals flow nicely in this one.
