World Cup Qualifying – Sunday 13th November European Matches Betting Preview

The latest set of European matches in the World Cup Qualifiers conclude on Sunday evening when the final eight games of the round are played out across a couple of kick off times on another busy night of international football.

We’ve had two crazy nights of action and we’ve saved the European champions for last as Portugal are among the sides in action on Sunday. The Netherlands and Belgium are other heavyweights on show too.

Group A

There are just the two matches left in this group after the France game was shifted to Friday night. Both are in the earlier kick off zone as Bulgaria play host to Belarus and the Netherlands look to run up a cricket score when they head to Luxembourg.

Group B

The European champions Portugal host Latvia in the later kick off in this group but before that Hungary look to find a big win against Andorra while Switzerland will be aiming to do a bit of a job on the improving Faroe Islands.

Group H

There is one early game in this group which sees Cyprus facing Gibraltar in a battle of the islands. After that Belgium welcome Estonia to town and will be looking to win big while Greece and Bosnia-Herzegovina do battle in the other match.

Betting

There are two bets I like in this final card of this round. We kick off right at the start with the Bulgaria against Belarus match. I don’t rate this Bulgaria side at all and I’m tempted to take Belarus to beat them but I think the better bet is for both sides to score.

A team as poor as Luxembourg have scored against these two so that immediately highlights the defensive deficiencies that they have but both tend to go well enough going forward. Bulgaria have taken a couple of beatings and will be out to make amends here while Belarus will fancy their chances. It all points to both sides scoring.

I was a little bit sceptical when Belgium hired Roberto Martinez to take charge but his choice of assistant manager in Thierry Henry is proving a masterstroke and the Belgians are looking really good as a result. They host Estonia on Sunday night and I’m expecting a big home win.

Estonia are nothing special. Bosnia-Herzegovina have beaten them 5-0 in this campaign already and Portugal walloped them 7-0 earlier in the year and even Greece were on easy street against them. This attacking unit of Belgium should tear this lot to shreds and take no mercy.
