The Premier League returns from the break for the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon with seven matches as the division kicks back into life. We have to wait until Sunday for our next glimpse of the leaders but plenty of decent sides are in action before then.
We have affairs in and around the top four in the spotlight while the race to avoid the drop will play out another chapter on a relatively busy day in the so called best league in the world.
3pm Matches
We have no early kick off on Saturday so the first action comes in the traditional 3pm matches. There are six of them and they begin at Stamford Bridge where the last two champions meet as Chelsea host Leicester. Crystal Palace take on Burnley at Selhurst Park while Huddersfield meet West Ham up in Yorkshire.
There is a huge clash at St James’ Park where Newcastle take on Swansea in what is the very definition of the term six pointer. Watford then host Southampton at Vicarage Road and West Brom entertain Brighton in another big match.
Late Game
The action all concludes at Wembley Stadium where Tottenham will look to extend their good recent run at the national stadium. They take on an Everton side who are likely to be tough to break down and who could be giving a debut to their big money signing Cenk Tosun which will be something to look out for in the game.

Betting
I like one bet in the Premier League on Saturday and it comes from Selhurst Park where a bashed up Crystal Palace side take on Burnley. Andros Townsend and Jeffrey Schlupp have joined the likes of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Scott Dann, Mamadou Sakho and Jason Puncheon on the sidelines and you would think that would play into the hands of the visitors.
The Clarets have one or two injuries of their own but nothing like the problems that Palace have and Burnley could give a debut to Georges-Kevin NKoudou. Only Man City and Leicester have beaten Burnley on their travels this season and I fancy the visitors can get something from this match whether that is a draw or a win.
