The latest Premier League weekend continues on Saturday with seven more matches in the top flight including a couple of TV matches in the UK. As ever there are three kick off times so plenty of chance for betting across the course of the day.
There will be plenty of focus at the top and the bottom of the table over the course of the afternoon into the evening on what should be a decent day of football.
Early Kick Off
It all gets underway at Selhurst Park where Roy Hodgson takes charge of Crystal Palace for the first time. They host Southampton knowing they are now the only side in the division yet to have a point to their name after Bournemouth won on Friday night. Southampton have only lost one of their first four matches.
3pm Matches
The big match in the usual kick off slot sees fourth placed Watford hosting the side in second in Man City. City will go top for 24hrs if they can avoid defeat while Watford will also hit the summit should they win the match.
Elsewhere West Brom play host to a very hit and miss West Ham side while newly promoted Huddersfield Town welcome the former champions Leicester City to Yorkshire. Liverpool look to build on their good Anfield record when they host Burnley while Newcastle at back at home against Stoke City.
Late Game
The day ends at Wembley Stadium where Tottenham Hotspur will be out to prove that their midweek win was no fluke and that the hoodoo at the venue does not exist. They look to have an ideal chance of winning too when they face a poor Swansea City side who have only scored in one of their opening four matches.

Betting
I’m going with two bets over the course of Saturday. They begin at Vicarage Road where I am expecting to see goals. Man City have shown over the course of the last week that they are in the mood while Watford have already played out a 3-3 here and have notched seven goals in their four matches. Marco Silva sets his sides up to go on the front foot and that should play nicely into City’s hands so I’m expecting more than three goals in this one.
Tottenham are the basis of my second bet. Usually I don’t look at big handicaps but I’m going to make an exception here because Spurs will be out to prove once and for all that if anyone still has any doubt that they can function at Wembley that there is no foundation for those issues. Swansea look an ordinary side to me who are going to struggle. Renato Sanches could change all that but I’m not convinced he’s going to get much change out of this Tottenham midfield and back line. Swansea lost this fixture 5-0 last season and while Spurs may not be as dominant on the scoreline I do expect them to be too good for their visitors.
