The final Premier League offering prior to the break for the FA Cup comes from Wembley Stadium on Thursday evening when Tottenham Hotspur host West Ham United in a second London derby in as many nights.
Tottenham will move to within a point of the top four if they can pick up the win in this match while West Ham will lift themselves up to 11th in the table should they take all three points, a victory which could kick start their campaign.

Tottenham
It has been a bit of an up and down campaign for Tottenham so far in the Premier League but they have had a decent Christmas period which they will be looking to round off in style in this match. Wins over Burnley, Southampton and Swansea have kick started a run of form which Spurs will hope lasts a long time as they look to push into the top four.
They have had to do things a little differently this season. Much of their success over the last couple of campaigns have been down to their watertight defence but some injuries to their back line has exposed them a little more. That doesn’t matter too much when you have the attacking talent on the field that they can boast.
West Ham
It hasn’t been the worst Christmas for West Ham either despite it starting badly. They lost at home to Newcastle to begin their festive period but they should have won at Bournemouth before being pegged back late on and then they had a great last gasp win against West Brom on Tuesday evening which got them out of the relegation zone.
There is little doubt in my mind that West Ham have improved under David Moyes but now they need to add consistency to their game and a four or five match unbeaten run. If they can do that they will significantly ease the pressure on themselves and begin to look forwards. In order for that to happen they need to improve defensively.
Team News
Tottenham are expected to return Harry Kane to the starting line up after a recent cold meant he began the Swansea win on the bench. Serge Aurier could return but Danny Rose is expected to miss out.
West Ham will be without Michail Antonio again but Andy Carroll and Javier Hernandez are both fit. Mark Noble made a big impression off the bench on Tuesday and he could be involved from the beginning here.

Betting
I think we are going to see some goals in this match. West Ham are pretty ordinary defensively at the best of times let alone 48hrs on from a match played in heavy conditions but on this big Wembley pitch they can certainly get about Tottenham as we saw in the cup-tie here earlier in the campaign.
I don’t think Tottenham are as watertight as they once were either but they have some serious attacking talent. When you factor in the lack of time between matches minds may be tired in defensive areas and as a result we’ll get goals. I’ll take over three here.
