It is the penultimate day of the regular Sky Bet League 2 season on Saturday and even though there are just two matches remaining in the campaign there is still a lot that needs to be sorted out over the final three hours of the season.
Much of that could be determined on a busy day on Saturday. Both the title and the second relegation spot could be sealed while the third promotion place is starting to get hugely dramatic so there is much to look forward to.
Saturday’s fixtures are as follows:
Accrington Stanley v Lincoln City
Cheltenham Town v Coventry City
Chesterfield v Wycombe Wanderers
Colchester United v Swindon Town
Crawley Town v Crewe Alexandra
Grimsby Town v Notts County
Luton Town v Forest Green Rovers
Morecambe v Barnet
Newport County v Cambridge United
Port Vale v Carlisle United
Stevenage v Exeter City
Yeovil Town v Mansfield Town
Big Matches
All eyes will be on the Wham Stadium to see if Accrington Stanley can get the point they need to be crowned champions at the second time of asking. Having lost in midweek they will not want to lose to Lincoln City and potentially take it to the final day. Luton will be hoping Accrington lose and if they do they will be aiming to take advantage when they host Forest Green. Wycombe in third head to already relegated Chesterfield.
Best of the Rest
It is do or die for Martin Allen and his Barnet side. Any result other than a win at Morecambe and they will be relegated. They will still go down even if they win if Grimsby match their result at home to Notts County. Elsewhere Coventry go to Cheltenham looking to keep control of the final playoff spot while Mansfield, the only side who can deny them now, head to Yeovil. Exeter in fourth travel to Stevenage.

Betting
This isn’t the easiest card in the world to bet on so I’ll stick to what I know and go with just the one bet which comes at Kenilworth Road where Luton take on Forest Green in a match where I’m expecting to see plenty of goals.
Luton have been free scoring at home all season and it would be fitting if they finish their home campaign with another burst of goals but having secured their survival in midweek there is no reason why Forest Green won’t come down and play the football they are capable of. That should make for an entertaining encounter and with the calibre of forwards that will be on show, over 3 goals looks an obvious bet.
