There is one more round of matches in Sky Bet League 2 before the week off for the FA Cup and it is played on Saturday as all 24 sides look to maintain or improve their positions in the division heading into the elongated spell without a game.
As ever both ends of this table are incredibly tight so much is likely to change over the course of what is a busy day of action on Saturday.
Saturday’s fixtures are as follows:
Accrington Stanley v Barnet
Chesterfield v Carlisle United
Colchester United v Crewe Alexandra
Forest Green Rovers v Morecambe
Grimsby Town v Cambridge United
Lincoln City v Crawley Town
Luton Town v Coventry City
Mansfield Town v Exeter City
Notts County v Newport County
Port Vale v Swindon Town
Wycombe Wanderers v Cheltenham Town
Yeovil Town v Stevenage
Big Matches
The big match of the afternoon comes from Kenilworth Road as two of the biggest sides in the division do battle when Luton host Coventry. Pre-season favourites Mansfield host Exeter at the One Call Stadium while two relegated outfits collide when Port Vale face Swindon at Vale Park. Two sides surprisingly high in the table battle at Meadow Lane when Notts County host Newport County.
Best of the Rest
Third placed Accrington play host to Barnet in a match which could see them go top if they win and results go their way. At the other end of the table bottom of the lot Chesterfield host Carlisle while second from bottom Forest Green welcome third bottom Morecambe to the land of the vegetable. Wycombe play host to Cheltenham in another match which sees a promotion chaser in action.

Betting
I’m going with three in this division on Saturday and we begin with the match I will be attending at Kenilworth Road where the leaders Luton are in action. They are in excellent form at the minute and host a Coventry side who have begun to struggle. Coventry have not scored in their last four matches and they will have their work cut out against a Luton side who are rampant at Kenilworth Road. I’m amazed Luton are odds against in this match. I accept Coventry don’t concede many but they’ll do well to keep Luton quiet. Luton have won six of their seven at home and were down to 10 men for the one they lost. Odds against has to be taken.
Accrington have been my team to follow all season so far and that is not going to change on Saturday. They host a Barnet side who are on the skids at the minute and I don’t see that changing at the Wham Stadium. Accrington have done a good job of beating the sides they should beat this season and they have a fully fit squad to go in with here. Barnet could be missing Shaquille Coulthirst which would be a big loss so I’m with the home side here.
Chesterfield are having an awful time of things this season and especially in front of their own fans so the last thing they may need is a visit from a Carlisle side who are going very well on their travels. Carlisle have won their last three away from home and have not conceded in that time. Chesterfield have lost their last four and could be without Jordan Flores after his car accident. I’m with the visitors here.
