A busy week in Sky Bet League 2 ends on Saturday when the entire division are back in action across another fixture filled day. There are some tasty battles at both ends of the table for followers of the division to follow and get stuck into which should make it a relatively appealing afternoon.
Saturday’s fixtures are as follows: (3pm unless stated)
Grimsby Town v Lincoln City (1pm)
Mansfield Town v Notts County (1pm)
Chesterfield v Cheltenham Town
Coventry City v Crewe Alexandra
Crawley Town v Carlisle United
Exeter City v Morecambe
Forest Green Rovers v Accrington Stanley
Luton Town v Newport County
Stevenage v Port Vale
Swindon Town v Cambridge United
Wycombe Wanderers v Barnet
Yeovil Town v Colchester United
Big Matches
The big match of the afternoon sees the leaders Notts County making the short trip to Nottinghamshire rivals Mansfield Town for a match between two sides who will be looking to go up this season. Two sides in the play-offs meet at Kenilworth Road when Luton Town host Newport County. There is another local derby at Blundell Park when Grimsby Town go up against Lincoln City.
Best of the Rest
Exeter lost a second match in succession on Tuesday night and they will be looking to put things right when they host Morecambe on Saturday while third placed Accrington go to Forest Green Rovers. Coventry in fourth welcome Crewe to the Ricoh Arena with the other top seven side Stevenage hosting Port Vale. Two sides in the top half do battle when Swindon Town host Cambridge United.

Betting
I like two bets over the course of these matches. The first comes from the Ricoh where Coventry City have found form now. They have won four of their last five matches and remain the only side to have beaten Notts County this season. I highlighted Crewe’s issues in midweek and they suffered late heartache having held a winning position at Wycombe. That is now 11 goals shipped in three matches for Alex. Coventry have only conceded one goal at the Ricoh this season which came in a defeat to Newport. All form suggests the Sky Blues will win this one.
Forest Green have done nothing to show me that they are not out of their depth at this level and they host an Accrington side who won on their travels in midweek and who can do it again in Gloucestershire. In fact Accrington have one of the better away records in the division and have won their last three road games. Forest Green have lost six of their last seven and even the draw in between isn’t exactly awe inspiring. There is an easy case to be made for Accrington being on the short side but they are that for a reason.
