The end of the Sky Bet League 2 season is getting ever closer and on Tuesday evening we could crown the champions of the division as four matches take place in another midweek set of games in the basement league.

It could be a momentous evening for Accrington Stanley as a point will give them the title. They are already promoted and can now go after the title when they make the trip to Rodney Parade to take on Newport County. It is a big night for two other sides hoping to follow Accrington into League 1 as Coventry in seventh host sixth placed Lincoln.
At the other end of the table things are in the spotlight too. Morecambe can guarantee their safety if they can find a win against Cambridge United. Forest Green will also secure their survival if they avoid defeat when they make the trip to Huish Park to face Yeovil Town.

Betting
This could be a lucrative night for anyone who has been with us since the start of the season as we could be collecting on the 33/1 Accrington to win the title bet and also the 9/1 Barnet to be relegated one.
As it is I think we’ll collect on the title but not on Barnet and the reason for that is I don’t see Morecambe beating Cambridge. Morecambe are without a win in seven and have only won two of their last 17 matches and won’t be helped by Garry Thompson missing out with injury. Cambridge have won three of their last four matches and a defeat to Exeter in between is no disgrace. Cambridge are getting some key players back and can take advantage of a side devoid in confidence in Morecambe.
