It is not all about the Wembley game in the NFL on Sunday, there are a host of matches in America at the usual two gameday kick off times. Two of those matches are on Sky in the UK and among them are some tasty looking clashes on what is one of the best days in the campaign.
1pm kick offs (6pm UK time)
The live game in the UK in this set of matches comes from Motown as the Atlanta Falcons travel to take on the Detroit Lions. The other games see the Indianapolis Colts hosting the Cleveland Browns in a battle of two poor sides. Denver Broncos head to the Buffalo Bills while the New England Patriots host the Houston Texans.
There is an AFC East clash between the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins at MetLife Stadium while in the NFC South the Carolina Panthers host the New Orleans Saints. It is a big afternoon in the NFC East too with the Philadelphia Eagles hosting the New York Giants while elsewhere the Chicago Bears are at home to the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Minnesota Vikings welcome the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
4pm kick offs (9pm UK time)
The big game in the second set of matches comes from the AFC West where there is a clash between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs which is the live game in the UK. The other two matches on the schedule sees the Seattle Seahawks travelling to the Tennessee Titans and the Green Bay Packers host the Cincinnati Bengals.

Game Bets
I’m going with three game bets over the course of the evening. They begin in Philadelphia where I expect the Philadelphia Eagles to see off a disappointing New York Giants side. The options that the Eagles have on offense are very strong and we all know that is an area of the ball where the Giants are really struggling. The Eagles are competent enough on defence to keep those struggles in place and I expect the home side to cover five and a half points there.
I said before the season that I believe the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the dark horses this season and I fancy they can pick up the win when they head to the Minnesota Vikings. To be fair to the Vikings they have begun the season well enough but the likely absence of Sam Bradford is significant and that is something the Bucs, with their powerful offense and underrated defence can take advantage of.
In the later matches I fancy we will see a few points in Los Angeles. The LA Chargers have always had a potent offense and this year the Kansas City Chiefs are delivering a much higher output on that side of the ball. You wouldn’t normally take Alex Smith to get involved in a shootout but times are a changing and I believe these two sides will unite in scoring plenty of points.
Player Bets
I’m always a sucking for a player line and that is no different here. The line in question belongs to Jay Ajayi. His rushing line looks a little low to be at 88.5 against a Jets defence who can’t seem to stop the run for love nor money. Ajayi is rated questionable for this match with a knee injury but he is expected to play and off the back of 122 yards against Los Angeles Chargers last week and a 100+ yard game against the Jets last year I’ll take the British running back here.
