There is a full set of matches in the Royal London One Day Cup on Sunday as the competition heads towards an end of the group stage later in the week. For some their group campaign ends here while others will have a match left so there is plenty of importance on these matches.
Sadly despite the group stages getting near to an end there isn’t any TV coverage of these matches so we are with the other forms of keeping up to date with them.
North Group
It is top against bottom at Edgbaston where Warwickshire take on Yorkshire. A win for Yorkshire would secure them a quarter final spot and have their immediate semi-final destiny in their own hands. Two sides who need to win out and hope clash in Leicester as Leicestershire host Derbyshire while Durham head to Worcestershire in a battle between second and third while Nottinghamshire travel to Lancashire.
South Group
The top two meet in the South on Sunday when Somerset host Essex in a match where the winners are highly likely to make it straight through to the semi-final as the group winners. Hampshire in fourth head to Surrey in fifth with both sides eyeing up a top three spot while Sussex host Gloucestershire as cricket returns to Eastbourne. Glamorgan meet Kent in the other match.

Betting
I like three bets over the course of the day on Sunday. The first sees Glamorgan taking on Kent at Swansea where I like the home side. Glamorgan should be full of confidence having chased down a miracle against Hampshire on Friday and with Kent out of the competition and maybe focusing on other challenges Glamorgan can take advantage. Their South African trio of Marchant de Lange, Jacques Rudolph and Colin Ingram are a match for most let alone a Kent side who have haemorrhaged runs all season.
Derbyshire have a solid looking side and if they win their last two matches they can still make it into the knockout stages. The same can be said for Leicestershire but every time they get some momentum in this competition it completely stalls and they have to go searching for it again. With the likes of Hardus Viljoen, Jeevan Mendis and Daryn Smit complimenting a young local group of talent I think Derbyshire have the right blend to pick up a win here.
Sussex are always a powerful batting line up in one day cricket and with the square boundaries at Eastbourne being very short I think they can hit four sixes in their match with Gloucestershire. Chris Nash, Luke Wright, Laurie Evans and David Wiese all hit a long ball as do a couple of others and on this ground they should have at least four sixes in them.
