2020-21 Premier League – Sunday 29th November Matches Tips, TV and Betting Preview

The Premier League weekend continues on Sunday when another three matches get played including a couple of very tasty looking clashes on what should be an entertaining few hours in the elite division.

As with all the matches at the present time, all three games will be live on TV in the UK so there is no reason not to put your feet up and sit back and watch it all unfold over the course of the six hours or so that it will be played out across.

Where to watch

All three matches will be screened live on the Sky Sports Main Event and the Sky Sports Premier League channels. The build up to the action begins at 1pm with the matches starting out from 2pm.

Southampton vs Manchester United (14.00)

The first match of the triple header comes from St Mary’s Stadium as a Southampton side who are going along very nicely host a Manchester United side who will be looking for a much needed victory to give themselves a platform to try to build from and get their season on track.

Southampton go into this match undefeated in seven matches and they have been the better side in the majority of those and will be full of confidence as a result. In a strange twist of fate they have won their last three home games having gone a few seasons without looking comfortable there or performing well there. Despite the doom and gloom, Manchester United have only lost one of their last five in the Premier League and have won all three matches away from Old Trafford.

Both teams will be confident here so I’m expecting to see some goals as a result of that. Southampton have scored twice in all four of their home games this term while United have notched 10 goals in their three away matches so both are scoring plenty of goals. There is absolutely nothing to suggest anything is going to change here so I’m happy to get myself on over 2.5 goals which probably should be a lot shorter than 4/5.

Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur (16.30)

The second match of the big day of action on Sunday sees two London rivals going at it in what you could call the Jose Mourinho derby as he takes his current club Tottenham Hotspur to face the team he twice served as manager in the past in Chelsea.

Spurs went into the weekend on top of the Premier League table and if they avoid defeat in this match that is where they will finish it as well whereas Chelsea started out in third position and are a win away from sitting at the summit of the league for the first time in quite some while so there is certainly no shortage of incentive for both teams here without mentioning the derby element to the game and the fact that they don’t like each other. In a normal world I would expect goals here too but this isn’t a normal world and I wonder if Mourinho will set his side up to contain Chelsea and look to get something on the break. The over 2.5 goals is going to tempt me right up until kick off and I might pull the trigger when the team news comes out but I’m going to refrain to begin with.

Arsenal vs Wolverhampton Wanderers (19.15)

The last match of the day comes from the Emirates Stadium where Arsenal will be looking to put a rough trot behind them when they host a Wolverhampton Wanderers who have a lot of hype clown in their direction but I’m not too sure I see it being justified.

There is no denying the fact that both these teams are underperforming and underachieving and with that in mind it is pretty hard to bet on this one. I don’t expect a high scoring classic but both have players who if they fire can certainly get the ball into the areas where goals can be scored regularly so while I would fire at the under if you forced me into a bet, this isn’t a match where I want to be parting with any hard earned, especially with two matches to come this weekend as well.
