The Premier League continues throughout this week with another two matches taking place on Tuesday evening. With the end of the campaign in sight, the points for those playing for something will be extremely valuable from here on in.
We are a week out from a return of fans to stadiums and even then it won’t be full houses so the competition remains live via the various broadcasters as it has been all season. That means both these matches can be viewed live on TV.
Manchester United vs Leicester City (18.00 – BT Sport 1)
The big match of the night comes from Old Trafford where Manchester United will be looking to delay the Manchester City title party for a few days longer when they host a Leicester City side who need to get back to winning ways to preserve their spot in the top four.
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already confirmed he will make a number of changes to his side this week with his team having played on Sunday and then having to play this match, again on Thursday and another match next Tuesday. With Liverpool being the match on Thursday and the rivalry between the two sides I’d be amazed if he makes wholesale changes for that game so I’m expecting a number of changes to the United side here. They will definitely be without Harry Maguire who picked up an injury on Sunday and Solskjaer won’t want any more star players injured with so much to play for still this term.
That should play into the hands of Leicester City, a side who have been better on their travels than at home this season anyway and who should be able to get their key players into the game a lot more than when teams sit in and defend against them at the King Power Stadium. There is every chance that this one will come down to who wants it more and even though Leicester have the FA Cup final at the weekend, I think that will be them. If there is a winner here I expect it to be the Foxes.

Southampton vs Crystal Palace (20.15 – Sky Main Event & Sky Premier League)
The second match of the evening is a dead rubber from a competitive point of view with both Southampton and Crystal Palace now perfectly safe after the demise of Fulham on Monday night, but both will want to maximise what they can from the season so from a neutral point of view you would hope that both will be eager to win here.
Crystal Palace go into this match off the back of a good win at Sheffield United at the weekend where they looked a lot more dynamic in forward areas than we are used to seeing from them. Southampton were beaten at Liverpool but can finally play with freedom now with their safety officially confirmed. You sense this is a bigger match for the home side than it is the visitors but both players have personnel who can hurt the opposition, which makes me like over 2.5 goals here, although I’d like to see Danny Ings in the Southampton line up before I commit to a bet on that.
