The UEFA Nations League international break concludes on Tuesday evening when nine more fixtures are played across the continent on a night where a number of the leading nations in Europe are on show.
The teams who got their campaigns started on Saturday are the ones back in action on Tuesday which means that we see the likes of England, defending champions Portugal and world champions France on show on a busy evening of action.
League A
Group 2 and 3 are the ones on the schedule on Tuesday and that means that we have England on show in this section. They will be looking to back up their edgy win over Iceland when they travel to Copenhagen to take on a Denmark outfit who were beaten by Belgium in their opening match. Belgium will look for successive victories to start off their tournament when they welcome Iceland to Brussels in the other Group 2 match.
Over in Group 3 we have a couple of matches with the pick of them being the repeat of the 2018 World Cup final as the winners of that tournament France take on the side they beat to lift the trophy in Croatia. Croatia were heavily beaten in their first match while France edged out Sweden. Sweden will now look to pick up their first points of the competition when they play host to the defending champions Portugal.
League C
There are two groups in action in League C on Tuesday evening as well. Group 2 is the first of them to begin with two earlier kick offs in that section. They see the two teams who lost their opening game battling it out when Armenia host Estonia while the two winners on Saturday afternoon also oppose each other when Georgia takes on North Macedonia in a match where the winners will know they will seize the early control in the group.
Later in the evening Group 1 will play their second set of matches as well and that also sees the two winners from the first set of fixtures taking each other on when Luxembourg take on Montenegro, again with the winners knowing they will be in full control of their destiny. Cyprus host Azerbaijan in the other match, a game which gives both sides an even looking opportunity to get off the mark for their campaign.

League D
There is just the one match in League D on Tuesday evening and it sees two of the minnows of European football in action when lowly San Marino host a Liechtenstein side who begin their tournament in this match and will be looking to pile more misery onto San Marino after they were beaten 1-0 by Gibraltar in the first game of Group 2 on Saturday afternoon.
Betting
Initially I liked the look of France to see off a Croatia side that is nothing like the one which the French beat to win the World Cup a couple of summers ago but the withdrawal from the squad of Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappe due to Covid-19 is enough to put me off them so instead I’ll get involved in the other game in the group where I expect Portugal to have too much for Sweden out in Solna.
Portugal opened up their campaign in style with a thumping win over Croatia on Saturday and they look to be getting better and better as an international side. We saw in that 4-1 win that they are no longer heavily reliant on Cristiano Ronaldo either which is a positive if he isn’t passed fit to play in this match. In the likes of Joao Felix, Diogo Jota and Andre Silva they have plenty of attacking talent while the creativity is supplied nicely by the Wolves pair Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho as well as the Manchester United starlet Bruno Fernandes not to mention Bernardo Silva and Renato Sanches. There is an embarrassment of riches for this Portugal side to pick from and they should have more than enough to beat a competitive but largely limited Sweden team.
