A dramatic weekend in the Premier League concludes with the Monday Night Football which is going to have a significant impact on the title destiny whatever the result is as Manchester City play host to Leicester City.
A Man City win will see them go back above Liverpool and regain control of the title race ahead of the final match of the campaign on Sunday. Leicester have nothing to lose and that could well make them extremely dangerous.

Manchester City
This is the best test for Manchester City. With a trip to Brighton as their final match on Sunday there is the feeling that if they win this match it will throw the door to a successful defence of their title wide open. In order to do that though they will need to be at their best. There have been times recently when they have just done enough to win but you sense they will need their best performance for a while here.
We know that this City side are free scoring and can put anyone to the sword but if they are going to avoid a tricky night they will need to be at their best defensively, an area of the pitch where you would think they are going to be tested strongly, even allowing for the fact that they are likely to have much more of the ball than their opposition.
Leicester City
It is as though Leicester City are playing for nothing here, technically they can still finish seventh in the table and be playing European football next season if they have the desire to. A win here would move them to within three points of Wolves, who they have a better goal difference than, and Wolves go to Liverpool on the final day of the campaign.
Leicester have been in excellent form under Brendan Rodgers. They go to the Etihad Stadium with five wins from their last seven matches and were far too good for Arsenal last week. The flair and clinical edge they carry to their attack makes them very dangerous but at the same time they can be vulnerable defensively which is not good when facing this City attack.

Team News
Manchester City will be without a couple of key men in Kevin de Bruyne and Fernandinho for this match so the likes of Ilkay Gundogan and David Silva will be key men. Bernardo Silva and Raheem Sterling are set to start on the flanks.
Brendan Rodgers has confirmed in the run up to this contest that he has no new injury concerns to worry about. The former Liverpool boss could name an unchanged side as he goes about trying to help his former side win the title.

Betting
In recent weeks Manchester City have controlled proceedings when they have gone in front but I think Leicester City contain too much of a threat for the home side to do that here. They certainly won’t want to give themselves kittens by only leading by one with the quality that they are up against who could easily put a spanner in their works in an instant.
Whether they are playing for seventh place or not, I don’t expect Leicester to play a containing role in this match. They love taking on the big sides and whether they get some of the ball or have to make the most of the counter attack I expect them to go at City when they get the chance. Unlike recent City games I fancy this could be high scoring and I’ll take over 3.5 goals here.
