It is the last day of the ATP Tour season on Sunday as the Nitto ATP World Tour Finals is completed with the title match being played in both the draws on what promises to be a wonderful day of tennis in Turin to complete a brilliant week.
There has been fantastic tennis everywhere you have looked this week and we look set to have two really tight and compelling finals to round off an event which deserves the sort of last day it looks like it is going to get.
Marcel Granollers & Horacio Zeballos vs Rajeev Ram & Joe Salisbury
The doubles final sees the defending champions Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury looking to do what they did at the US Open and make a successful defence of their title. Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos are the men who stand in their way.
This is something of a rarity in this event in that we have two unbeaten pairs battling it out and one of them will walk off with five wins from five. I’ve been really impressed with Granollers and Zeballos but that isn’t a surprise as they are my outright pick for this tournament. Ram and Salisbury have been good too, especially on serve, but they have dropped a set in their last two matches and in the semi-final Ram looked to be having an issue with his abdomen or something which would be a concern. I’m expecting a good, close final between two very good pairs with not too much to separate them but I’m happy to let my outright ride its way home here.

Jannik Sinner vs Novak Djokovic
The singles final is a repeat of arguably the best match of the week so far as the home star Jannik Sinner looks to back up his win on Tuesday night when he takes on the world number one and defending champion Novak Djokovic.
The first meeting between these two was one of the best matches of the season and if we get a game even close to that good here then we are in for an absolute treat. The caveat or elephant in the room to this match is Sinner had the chance to get rid of Djokovic when he played Holger Rune in his last group game and having chosen not to take up the opportunity there is more than an air of him being made to pay for that decision hanging over this final. He will definitely be made to pay for it should Djokovic turn up with the form that he had in his win over Carlos Alcaraz with him. He was absolutely perfect in that match and there isn’t anyone in the sport at the minute that can beat that level. The other thing to throw into the mix is that this will be the biggest match that Sinner has ever competed in. He will have the home crowd behind him and the fast court in his favour and I think both things will keep the Italian competitive but I expect Djokovic to be too good in the end. I’ll end the week with a bet on Djokovic to reverse a third set fortune from earlier in the week.
