The Premier League weekend concludes with the Monday Night Football this week and that takes us to the Vitality Stadium where AFC Bournemouth battle West Ham United to round off what has been an entertaining week of action.
AFC Bournemouth are in decent form and look to be a side on the up and will want to continue that perception here while West Ham are just looking for anything they can do to find some consistency and push towards the top half.
Where to watch
The match will be shown live and in full on the Monday Night Football programme which will be on Sky Main Event and Sky Premier League. The show begins at 6.30pm ahead of the kick off at 8pm.
AFC Bournemouth
You have to give AFC Bournemouth a lot of credit. It is easy to forget that this is only their third campaign back in the Premier League such is how much they are established in the top flight now. In less than three seasons they have gone from a Championship side to one which will move into the top six in the table were they to win this match. Were they to come out on top here it would be a fourth straight win in the Premier League which is no mean achievement either.
Much of the Bournemouth success this season has been down to their home form where they have picked up 13 points from their seven games so they will be confident that they can pick up another win in front of their fans here. Chelsea and Brighton are the only teams to have left this part of Dorset with a win and there is little to suggest that West Ham are at that level which will help. There is the perception that Bournemouth are better underdogs though.
West Ham United
As we said last week, this clearly hasn’t been the season that West Ham United would have been looking for when they dispersed of the services of David Moyes. To the Hammers’ credit, they got the job done in slightly awkward circumstances last week given the Michail Antonio situation but Wolves were a side that were there for the taking and in truth there wasn’t a huge amount that was convincing about the win, although in their situation any win supersedes the performance right now.
That win ended a run of two very concerning defeats, albeit not necessarily with terrible displays, so they will be hoping to marry the two together here and get a win which would take them to the fringes of a place in the top half of the table and have the overall picture looking a lot rosier as we head towards the halfway point of the campaign. West Ham are 2-2-3 on their travels but they did win on a Monday night at Newcastle recently which bodes well for them.

Team News
AFC Bournemouth are going to be without Marcos Senesi and Marcus Tavernier for the foreseeable future but they do have Tyler Adams available here. David Brooks replaced the latter from the bench last week but Dango Ouattara could be the man to start here.
West Ham United will be without Emerson who is suspended for this match while Michail Antonio is out for the foreseeable future. Julen Lopetegui suggested that two players are nursing injuries and will be assessed but he didn’t name who they are.
Betting
This isn’t the easiest or best looking betting heat. Of the two sides I would prefer AFC Bournemouth but I don’t like the idea of backing them at the price and for all that West Ham were good at Newcastle a few weeks ago, their away form certainly doesn’t lead me into getting involved in them either so I’m going to look to exploit one of the statistics which yields a value bet on a match I do fancy to have goals in them.
That is for Justin Kluivert to either score or assist in the match. He leads the goal contributions list for Bournemouth this season with seven and we have seen in recent times that attacking players get to this West Ham defence largely at will. Kluivert has four goals in his last five games and he has the technical ability to get in dangerous areas and thread passes through. West Ham have conceded nine goals in their last three matches so Bournemouth can be expected to notch here and if they do the statistics suggest that Kluivert will be involved.
