After yet another dramatic day in the Premier League on Saturday there are two more matches in the top flight on Sunday where yet more drama is highly likely to occur.
The double header begins at Vicarage Road where Watford host Liverpool before Swansea welcome West Ham to the Liberty Stadium in the later game.
All eyes will be on Jurgen Klopp and his Liverpool side first up. There was a strange reaction to their 2-2 draw with West Brom last week but it was designed to get players and fans together as one and they’ll need to be just that against an underrated Watford side.
Watford’s front two are up there with the better partnerships in the division and have scored and set up plenty of goals so they will need containing but Liverpool haven’t convinced defensively for a season or two so I really don’t see the Reds having this one all their own way.
From a betting point of view I can’t really get a feel for the match though so I’m going to leave this one alone and save my money for the later game.
West Ham’s form has dipped in recent times in that they are not winning matches but they are still hard to beat having drawn four of their last six and kept clean sheets in their last two matches.
Swansea are anything but hard to beat. They have been opened up on regular occasions throughout the season and until that changes they might well continue to struggle.
I find it really hard to believe Swansea are such strong favourites in this match with their only win in 11 coming against an abject Aston Villa in a match they made hard work of.
West Ham might not have won in a while but they’ve not lost many either and have looked comfortable on the road all season. I don’t see them losing this match. Even if they don’t win they can bag a draw.
