CSA T20 Challenge 2022 – Tuesday 22nd February Matches Tips and Betting Preview

The CSA T20 Challenge enters its final two days of group matches on Tuesday and it does so with three of the semi-final spots secured and with one more place remaining in the beginning of the knockout phase on Friday.

We have another two matches to enjoy on Tuesday with the battle for that final spot in the spotlight in the first game. League placings is all that is at stake in the second one. Both matches are live on Free Sports in the UK.

North West Dragons vs Titans (08.00)

The opening match of the day sees the North West Dragons, the side who are battling with the Dolphins for the last semi-final spot, going up against the Titans who know that win or lose here they are safely into the last four at the end of the week.

This is the final game of the regular season for the Titans and while they could still finish top of the table with a win they will be playing in the semi-finals regardless of what happens. They are undefeated since the opening match but it might be that they rest one or two stars for that last four clash at the end of the week. The Dragons could certainly do with that happening as they are three points behind the Dolphins with a match in hand. They go into this one having dropped their last three games though and need to turn that around if they are to make the semi-final. Their destiny is in their own hands but that won’t be the case if they lose here. I’m not in a rush to bet on this match I have to say. One team might rest players and the other has lost three in a row. I’ll watch on and see how this one plays out.

Boland Rocks vs Knights (12.30)

The second match of the day on Tuesday sees the third placed team Boland Rocks finishing their regular season campaign against the bottom placed Knights, who will also play their last round robin game here but unlike their opponents they will not be returning for the semi-finals.

The Rocks have had a good campaign so far and have secured a semi-final place. There is a chance they might rest some players but they have had one or two big guns come in and out of the side so that might not happen. I would imagine they will be keen to keep their winning momentum. The Knights have had a season to forget but you would imagine this is a chance to go down swinging although that won’t be easy against a plethora of Rocks spinners who have just defended 119 against a powerful Dolphins batting unit. The Knights have struggled against spin all season and I don’t see that changing on pitches that are getting tired by the day. I expect a comfortable Rocks win here.
